Game officially is in Early Access.
False advertising from the devs, which insist its a full release, but promise huge updates on their discord.

I wouldnt be mad if they just said so in their post as I myself refrain from buying EA-Games.
(As I tend to buy and forget about them for years if they dont receive mayor updates frequently.)

I know they did two updates yesterday to the game. so im sure they plan to make more updates as players provide feedback. repo did the same thing,repo also launched without matchmaking but added this function in later.

i hope they can keep adding content like repo or something if they do id be tempted to buy the game but from what ive seen so far and from playing the demo/beta its okay but without major addtions it is sorely lacking.

This is very much a scam by the devs. Absolutely not 1.0. The game's story is incomplete, and you'll at one point reach a narrative dead-end.

The update news includes a roadmap stating when they’ll be adding new content—for example, the third floor is coming in October as a Halloween event.

Yeah but Repo is still EA so the fact that their game is unfinished is fine. This game is not EA. It should be full and complete with only polishing and bug fixes on the to do list. The fact that they didnt even release the roadmap until a week after the game was released is shady. Bought the game day of release and I had to dig in the discord to find out why I couldnt access the third floor. Nothing anywhere on release hinted that the game wasnt complete.

I paid $10 for both this and REPO, and only got REPO because the kids wanted to play it all together. Even with the short story it's still a significantly more polished experience, and having actual meta-progression makes starting back at level 1 after a death not feel bad. REPO was fun for an afternoon, but that's it.

If the difference is litearlly just an Early Access label then why get so upset over it? Its a complete non-issue you could have researched before ever buying the game.
