How do you cook food in this game?

My character has raw fish, raw meat and no rations in his inventory, and nowhere did I get the option to cook my food, even though I have a tinderbox and can cast fireballs.

Edit: I'm in Sorcery 4 now, and managed to find a place to cook it. Would have been great to be able to cook anywhere in Sorcery 3, though.

there is multiple campfires you can find and sit down at to cook your food in sorcery 3. like in the different villages etc.

I think when you encounter the flying fish if you cast ZAP it not only kills them but also"cooks" them to give you two ready-to-eat rations. Yay! :-D
