[campaign] Picking up or dropping item

Since they all auto-picked if you win man, is there reason to pick them? And if you carried something in beginning, is there reeason to drop them on ground?

No idea about reasons to drop stuff, but I assume you can pick stuff up and get to the escape without clearing the area.

I actually tried to escape with stuff once and it said "you lost game" and offered me to restart. It was from assault HQ. I killed everyone even leader, except one sniper.

There are a couple specific places where it can be tactically advantageous in the city map. For instance, disabling an interference generator to get better map visibility, or stealing loot and exiting mission.

Can I escape with one person take all the stuff but the rest would continue fighting?

Last I checked, yes, assuming the mission has an exit. Some don't. <.<
