We could offer the version 2.0 to you but I'm pretty certain, it's just a setting issue. Do you like to let me know a bit about your system?
Are you use an external sound device?
Did you try different sources (media and players)?
Did you try to update your soundcard drivers?
Did you try to tune the processing using the Latency parameter in the settings?
Do you run all in 48 / 44.1 Khz?
Do something help?
Best,
Tom

When I plug headphones through motherboard or when the sound is output through the monitor I still can use 5.3 and 10.7 latency without any problem.
ok as far as I understand, the issue gets solved if you use the internal sound card or tune with the Latency Target Parameter, right? The Latency Target parameter was offered exactly for such issues because sometimes external sound cards need different latencies. So those who can't make the SSC run anyway with an external sound card I like to encourage you to tweak a bit around with sound settings of the SSC and the external sound card. Maybe stay in 44.1 Khz, check any other enhancement parameters from the external card etc.
I know it's bothersome that the SSC is still running with steam. But we still discuss with Steam how to change that. It's much more difficult as expected too;)
Best,
Tom
