Spatial Sound Card

Spatial Sound Card

Anyone using Spatial Sound with Discord?
I'm using spatial sound card when listening to music and when playing Dota 2/CSGO for 5.1 audio; whenever my friends go online, we would play together and use Discord to communicate. However, I don't hear any audio from Discord while using this software. I end up quitting spatial sound card, setting Dota 2 audio back to headphones so I can hear my friends talking on Discord.

Hi

Sorry for any trouble up front.

Is this the app you mentioned?
https://discordapp.com/

Recently we had an issue who seems to be similar to yours who got solved:

Could you sneak in, maybe try it out and let me know if this solved your issue as well?

Best,
Tom:)

Not allowing applications to take exclusive control of the playback devices did the trick and made everything work. Thanks! :dc3himeno: I can now enjoy Dota 2's 5.1 audio while using discord.

I got another problem, I unplugged my head phone and made my PC hibernate, when boot it back up I had no audio output so, I tried enabling/disabling the device and then restarted several times. I ended up and uninstalled the NAT so I can reinstall. Now, I am having trouble with reinstalling it. I'm trying everything I can do with the trial version so that I can be sure that I won't run into any problems when I subscribe to the software using steam.

If you want to deinstall the NAT products, please run the “Installer Setup” generation and download step again. The then available installer offers an uninstall function. Running this installer will remove all NAT files from your computer.
I already tried the uninstall function but I still get this error when I try to install it again.

Step (2/3) ERROR: store.newaudiotechnology.com #1

Yup, I was able to use it for about a month. Problem came up when I hibernate my PC and disconnect my headphone. I was able to reinstall over 3 times now but I no longer have audio using the NAT device.

Aha:) Did you use the Public Beta version? If not, please try it because it has a much newer driver;) It's available in the Download Software menu of your NAT Store account. Simply select public beta in the drop down menu, generate the installer again and run it over the current version. BTW the Steam SSC and the trial of the pro version can't be opened at the same time.

Looking forward to your response.

Best,
Tom:)

I decided to purchase SSC on steam so I uninstalled the Pro trial version. I'm now having trouble with installing the SSC sound card driver.

I'd like to try everything to fix it (Except resetting windows installation). :bcsurprise: Please help me.

UPDATE:
Thanks to this problem I realized that my PC is having some serious issues. I'll try and install it again after solving the problem. I might end up reinstalling windows. :yuurisad:

Hi Jerome

Sorry for any inconveniences.

From our site, you definitely not have to rest your windows;)

If the problem comes up again please try that:

Could you please go to C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Spatial Sound Card
or
Search in Windows Explorer %APPDATA%\Spatial Sound Card

...and delete the Spatial Sound Card.setting file?

Is the SSC now starting and running well?

Best,
Tom:)

Thanks Tom! I'm sure its not the software's fault because I had problems with installing other drivers too. :natsuhikoconcerned:

I did reformat my PC already though. I now have SSC working properly on a fresh install of Windows 10. I'll just go through things that I was able to do with the trial version to compare with the steam version. I'll be sure to write a review later about it! :bite:
