[SOLVED] Out of Memory - Fatal Memory Error

Cannot launch the game, I get a black screen. When I Alt-Tab out, I get a pop-up window -- Out of Memory -- Fatal Memory Error.

Intel i5 3570K oc'd to 4.2ghz
16GB RAM DDR3
Windforce Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 factory oc'd
Windows 10 64 bit

This should solve it.

Change "options.ini" to the above.

Strangely, I didn't have to change anything, I just opened up the options.ini file in Notepad, and the settings were already set as you describe above. But now the game works fine. Go figure...

Windows 10 is a nightmare for me, the engine miss-behaves on it constantly.

Hey. I'm having the exact same problem. I tried going to the options.ini file and they already had the same settings. I tried launching the game again and I'm still getting the error.

I've deleted and completely re-copied the settings. I've also tried running as admin. Can't seem to get the game working though. Any advice?

Apparently win 10 suffers in some cases from the OS limiting the RAM usage. Some reported closing other software solved it.

I'm also having the same problem no matter how i start it on windows 10. I've tried also using previous service packs while on my windows 10 and its still not opening. Also tried starting it up in windowed mode to see if that would help and tried this also with all of the service packs. Also tried it on both my processors graphics and my graphics card this way as well. still no luck

Specs have nothing to do with this, this is all on Windows 10, It's something related to win10 not allowing enough ram for the game for no good reason, I cannot reproduce this on any win10 machine i tried it on so if you cant get it to work I suggest you get a refund before the two weeks run out.

I really want to play it so i'll just keep trying things and if i come across something that fixes it i'll post it here for anyone else that might have the same problem.

I was able to get the game to open by closing out of pretty much every non-system required program. I haven't had time to actually playtest quite yet though. Sorry, I meant to post this earlier.

I just launched it today and it just worked. I restarted my computer a couple of times, but it works now lol. I didn't do anything to fix it.
