I have played this game on multiple computers exclusively on Steam (on Windows and Linux) without issue.
Did you UNinstall the game for the Micro store first, before installing it through Steam?
I don't know how the Micro store works, but can only imagine its intrusiveness.
I simply exit out of the client and come back in to fix it.
The problem I have still never been able to fix or workaround client side is the "help" command being spammed every time I fire with the LMB.
Maybe you'll get lucky and the mouse problem will be one that disappears. That won't happen before Febuary. Some unknown time later.
That's possible but beyond my skill set. I've dug into the files to see what's there (to answer modding questions) but haven't gone further. I wasn't looking for the mouse info at the time. There could be a resource file in DAVAproject like that or it could be in the app and only the accelleration setting is stored.
Someone in the modding community might know more.
