1) The server is down. If this had happened everbody in your region would be complaining, so that’s not it.
2) A firewall Is blocking the connection. Parents, schools, work and other network owners may block sites they don’t want people to use. If you are the owner you’ll need to change the firewall settings. If you aren’t, you’ll need to negotiate with them to get the settings changed.
3) An internet pipeline between you and the server has failed. Like a highway being shut down, you can’t get there from where you are.
If there’s only one route, such as an undersea cable connecting an island, you’ll have to wait for the repairs to be made.
Try shutting down the power to your system for 30 seconds (computer, router, wifi, everthing). When it all reboots they will have clean copies of their routines and may select an alternate route to the server.

Great timing, I get connection to the game back now. Its probably 3) reason, not sure either. Thanks btw.
Cheers.
It all depends on what kind of a problem it is. For most people it might be something like an overloaded router that will clear up in a few hours. It might take days or weeks before a ship is available that can fix an undersea cable.
That’s where rebooting your router comes in. If there’s a route around the problem a rebooted router might find it.
Support may also have other suggestions and it may help for them to know about persistant problems.
