World of Tanks Blitz

There's broken, and then there's this game.
I have no clue why, but for this game is completely broken. I can kind of fix some things by playing with the graphics settings, but does anyone know how to fix this properly? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1312662769

it looks to me like there is a huge Memory Leak due to lack of RAM.

or

you open too many games and some of them are very RAM demanding.

or

you got low end graphics card driver

kindly take note that 32 bit computer max RAM you can get is 3.67 GB of RAM even if you install 6 GB of RAM to 8 GB of RAM.

^_^

I can safely say its graphics related then, as this craptop has Intel HD Graphics and everything else is just above the minimum;
3.68GB RAM
Duo 2.13Ghz
Win 10 x64

get more RAM, i highly recommed you get up to 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM.

your background processes already eating up to 2.5 GB of RAM without opening steam or any web browser or any games.

to resolve your problem, get more RAM, and lower your settings for WOT blitz to the minimum.

your graphics card driver actually met the system requirements to play WOT blitz.

you are suffering from memory leak which is very obvious since i come across it myself before when i'm playing a game which requires 2 GB of RAM and my previous computer only got 1 GB of RAM.

to find out how much RAM you have used up before opening steam or any programs or any games.

1) open task manager

2) go to performance tab

3) under memory you will notices the amount of RAM is being used already out of the total amount of RAM you have on your computer.

here are my CPU specs as a reference

i) i5 5200U 2.2 GHz quad core processor

ii) 8 GB of RAM

iii) nvidia geforce 920m with 2 GB dedicated VRAM

iv) integrated intel (R) HD graphics 5500

v) paging file size is 6658 MB (i always put the paging file size double of the recommended)

p.s i mostly play games using the nvidia geforce

p.s my cpu specs is mid end laptop computer. not low end nor high end at all. can run most games without suffering from any in-game graphics issue at all.

@OP the actual model of your CPU would help determine if you even got any chance to get the game running correctly (as that would also tell us what exact IGP you got), maybe it is just some driver issue.
And I would not bother with upgrading something this outdated, it would rather be more cost-efficient to swap that laptop out for a better one, or if you don't even need the mobility, go for a desktop as you get way more performance for the same money as a laptop, and even a couple hundred $ would buy you something that could run WoT Blitz just fine.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Addendum:
Well, just had a look on the full Intel CPU list, and from the little info you gave (Duo 2.13GHz) it seems you are running a i3-330E/M from 2010, sporting a GMA HD integrated GPU. Thats literally the lowest of IGPs you can get (as it was the first real IGP), so it might indeed be not sufficient for WoT Blitz at all.
I don't have a plan about smartphone/tablet GPUs at all, but at a short glance it seems that the minimum required GPU for playing WoTB on phone/tablet already outperform a GMA HD, so it seems futile to try any further.

Actually your laptop is the very definition of low-end as both your CPU and GPU are the lowest entry models of their respective series, just saying.

But as long as you are fine with that, good for you, but it's by no means something any dedicated gamer would accept as sufficient. The statement you can run most games without issues is just utter BS as while it is fine for mobile ports like WoTB, any AAA titles or even more recent independent games would perform horribly on a 920m.

Luckily for me I'm only using a craptop temporarily until my tower is fixed (i5 2500k(?) @3.3Ghz with a Radeon RX550 (still sh*t, but now where near as sh*t as this stain)); I have far better games on that compared to this (War Thunder, etc).
I had little hope of WoTB working on this; if it was fixable I'd only even think of doing it if it was something like a driver update, because like hell I'm gonna waste cash on my back-up PC.

that is your opinion which is actually totally wrong.

the link here clearly shows that intel core is 5200u processor is a mid range computer for a laptop.

https://laptoping.com/cpus/product/intel-core-i5-5200u/

and mine is without "overclocking" also.
Neithan Mar 4, 2018 @ 3:28am
Oh well, if you want to argue, there is indeed the i3 usually defined as the low-end and thus call i5 in general the mid-range, but in the range of i5 Broadwell mobile processors, the 5200u is the lowest you can get, so in the end you are at the low end of the mid range with your CPU, and the differences between Broadwell i3 and i5 is basically just the turbo boost ability of the i5 (granted, that does impact performance noticeably).

And since you mention it, you could not even overclock your CPU, as it lacks the free multiplier (indicated by a "K" added to the name) needed to set overclocking in BIOS.

Also doesn't change the fact that a GTX 920M is as crappy as it can get (there is a 910M even it seems, but good luck finding more than a couple of craptops using that), even my second PC with my old GTX 660ti would outperform it considerably, hell, even the GTX 460 would do so.

if you think you know more than me about computers "neithan" then you are so wrong.

there are tons of information about computers over the world wide web.

and i also study about computers too.

information communications and information technology and computer security in private school and i got a degree too.

also, there are 3 categories for computer specs

1) low end

2) mid end

3) high end

not 2 categories which is what you are implying.

intel core i5 5200u with or without overclock is mid end.

the processor speed is 2.2 GHz without overclock. processor speed is 2.7 GHz with overclock.

if i were to say in my original post that my processor speed is 2.7 GHz, i can tell you won't say low end at all which is very obvious.

and not only that, you won't be able to tell if i overclock my computer or not at all.

i can read you like a book based on your replies to me here in this thread.

The ammount of (wrong) assumptions you make is really astonishing.. *sigh*

Just where do I actually imply there is only 2 categories? I don't specifically mention high-end, but its obvious after low and mid that there also is high (why even call it mid range otherwise?!).

And if you really knew about computers, you would not speak of overclocking when actually you mean the "Turbo Boost" implemented into the CPU by the manufacturer. Sure it increases the clock speed, but any professional or even amateur IT person will use the term "overclocking" for manually increased clock speed to whatever the CPU is providing from stock. And your i5 is providing 2.7GHz from stock as it will automatically set clock speed between 2.2 and 2.7GHz as needed, no need for you to manually do anything.

And maybe you should go and read an actual book sometimes, might enlighten you to the point where you stop making such ridiculous assumptions and statements.
