Hi, I played about 1 k hours 1 and a half years ago, grinded a few tier 10s, but then dropped the game. Is it worth returning to it or is it dead? (Im bored af lmao)

No. Just don't do it! I am only play ranked, special mod and training room. Normal matches are just cancer.

In fact, you could even say that I've already quit the game. I very rarely go back and play this game.

I can tell in the first 2 shots if game RNG is throwing to one team. I would say 30-40% of games end with one team having 1500-3000 dmg per tank and the other with maybe one or two tanks over 1K. Add in the AFKs, straight up idiots and griefers and it is hard to get a worthwhile team in RATINGs battles much less any other mode.

No, I do not recommend returning. WG is in "profit off suckers mode" worse than ever, every other day there's some new "buy crates" or "draw".

As far as gameplay, they have REALLY screwed game play. Not only is there the rigging through match maker, and RNG, they have given new players tier X tanks which means that YOU WILL get horrible, clueless players, even at tier 10. Not just bad players, players with 50 battles in rating battles, and yes, you will lose.

I saw an advertisement for Steel Aces, a PC only tank game which the ad said "8 days" which would put it this Friday. I don't see anything else that supports this, HOWEVER, the game is at least under development and hopefully, and seemingly. TANK BATTLES FIRST, and not CRATES, and STUPID STORIES, and trash remodeled tanks being sold as something special or signficant.

I do not recommend deleting WG accounts except in drastic circumstances. It's pretty common for players to leave Blitz and return, even years later, to find their tanks and game process intact. If they had deleted their account that would have been thrown away; by not deleting the account they may get some additional use out of it.

And, if they never return, the account just sits there doing no harm.

A lot may have changed since you left and much more may change in the coming year. Wargaming is busy converting the entire game to Unreal 5. At the same time there are rumors and hints of other large changes in process. Work on the conversion is a multi-year project.

Blitz executives have an absolute rule about announcing changes only when they are sure that they will deliver the new product. They released this teaser video. I'm guessing we might see it happen sometime in 2025.

your playing ratings mode here. generally sweaty players spamming op tanks. wouldnt recommend playing a slow td with low hp and average armor. also, the goal of the mode is not to win but to gain rating, which rewards playing passive, getting kills, and surviving more than rest of your team. kinda garbage system but thats just how it is
