Important Changes If You Have Multiple Accounts

The maintenance today was for the purpose of establing a new system for linking all mutiple accounts. This new system may require you to make mandatory changes to accounts in some situations. It will only affect you if:

"You have created accounts in different regions (EU/NA/ASIA) with the exact same email address
You have accounts with different email addresses in different regions that are linked to the same external service (like Steam or Twitch)
This procedure will soon become mandatory so we highly recommend performing these actions as soon as possible to ensure a smooth transition."

If this change applies to you there are two new support website articles that you should read. Links to the NA website are given here but the articles are also in the Accounts section of the EU and Asia support websites:

Wargaming says this about the new system:

"Wargaming is working to unite the audiences of different servers and will provide players with the opportunity to enjoy our games as one community. As a result, starting in October 2024, we will introduce a system that allows players to combine their Wargaming accounts from different Wargaming servers into one. Players will be able to manage all their Wargaming accounts from one place and use the same credentials to log in to any of their Wargaming accounts."

While this changes the account management of multiple accounts, it does not merge or transfer accounts from two or more accounts into one account or one server. It also does not affect the content, payment methods, privacy settings, etc. of the individual accounts. However, when there is charge back ban (after WG not being paid for a purchase) all linked accounts will be blocked until the payment is made.
