Couldnt download resources - wot is broken since new update

So i start the game and after a while , notification pops up and its saying that it couldnt download resources and i should check my connection , my connection is same as every day
and i literally cant tell whats wrong . I tryed to restart pc , reinstal the game , reset files but nothing worked . i supose its just a bug WG will fix after time but if anybody has a solution to this , please let me know

I had no problem to download, but its total ♥♥♥♥ show. Every single days this game is getting ♥♥♥♥♥ more and more :(

The days an update drops are notorious for being slow, having connection problems, etc. Everyone is excited about whatever new things the update has, downloads all the same time time and tries to play a game. Servers, clusters and routes can end up with load problems. Things calm down in a day (or two).

The general bug fix for resources not downloading (or downloading improperly) is to delete both resource folders and replace themr:
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\DAVAProject
C:\Users\%username%\Documents\packs

New copies will be downloaded when you reopen the game. Your settings may be changed.

There can be an individual folder in DAVAproject that is responsible for the problem but instead of tracking down which folder this solution just replaces all of them.

Special tip for Mac-users
You can go directly to the folder
"Macintosh HD/Users/%username%/Documents/"
by using cmd-shift-O in Finder (O is not ZERO!) and then just look for the folders "DAVAProject" and "packs". I recommend backing up this two folders (e.g. make Zip-Files by compressing them) prior to delete them.

there are thousands of players experiencing the same problem, if these problems are not fixed the game will suffer greatly

for windows just search from start button "controlled folder access" then you easilly find "allow app" or "recently blocked" there you grant folder access and fix download problem (had documents folder permission error popup after fresh launch and solved)

Yep that solved it, great work. It must have changed on the last Windows 11 update.

I found the Dava and Packs files and removed them, now it won't load as it says it cannot connect to a server.

The EU server was restarted around the time you posted this after problems occurred.. If you are still having this problem contact player support at https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/
