Is Blitz worth playing in 2023?

I stopped playing on December 4th, 2022, and was just wondering in your opinion, is the game still worth playing in 2023? I'm a unicum, so I'd so I'm pretty alright at it, and been tempted to go back into it after the War Thunder Scandal.

Should I play again? Or should I not touch the game?

There's more new players right now than there has been, I'm playing more ratings and special modes than usual, but I'm still having fun. Whether what's going on right now suits you is pretty personal.

There's a new Czech heavy line, a new Lagoon map, and a new 3 month season with it's own new tanks. It's Blitz' Birthday with special events and gifts, If you've played for a while the birthday gifts for veterans are usually pretty nice. If you are going to come back and test the waters June is a good month to do it.

I play an hour or so two or three days a week. I can't stand how the game is "pay to progress". After depleting steam offers wich gave me several Premium hours, you'll loose money just by playing T7 and higher, in World of Warships Blitz however, same company, you don't. The negative earning in mediocre fights keeps me from playing more than a few rounds...

Some fights are fun, no matter the tier. Play it from time to time, if you like it, if you don't, don't play it lol. I'll leave it in my library for a bit longer...

Well... to save credits, you can take lesser premium shells into battle. If you have one or more, farm credits by winning battles in premium tanks. Or at last check the credt coefficents of you tank. Even for tech tree tanks, there can differences up to 20%
But the best option to not lose credits.... to win :D

no worthy i was go back and many teams are noobs and you must carry even high tier tanks
after loaders / autoreloaders buff are 8 tier unplayeable ( + emil,+polish heavy,+ italian td )

wg never balance tanks / tiers / class if every month come new broken gold tank
single shot tanks are usless
and is no worthy any minute in game
is your time - better die with headshot in CS -go as play this unfair sht
if no believe ask why no meet E 75 TS in battle ? slow , no dpm ,

Yep! I got the Chieftain and the huge french médium, I don't remember the name to farm credits. I do decent scores with those ones but without premium Time, I get 50 to 75k per battle. Also I have one SU 144-22 or something on t7, the roberX on t6 and a few others. Lol

No, it is not worth playing....
The latest event for example, you can't even measure it by individual game results.
It is turning into pay to progress game, spend more $$$, you will get the tank...
Someone already pay their way to get the Fixer medium tank, omg, can you believe that.
The game has turned into a Casino and spending $$$ to get the rewards....

WOTB is absolutely worth playing.

Most of my posts are about rigging, cheating, botting etc, pressing winrate down as main result but there's enough fun left, even when things often go wrong outside your own input.

I recommend WOTB to any player that doesn't see winrate as a dealbreaker.

Not sure if losing with 40% nubs or AFKs is relaxing.
Also, MM set you up with 40% players when you enable Gold Boosters before the game begins
