For what reason do you think you can raise the price on the season pass.
I don't recall ever seeing you changing the price for this. Did not get a email about anything!
Greed will only make me remove this game from my Steam account!
This is a free to play game but I will not support your game anymore if you don't drop the price back down to were the they both were at! 4.99 an 19.99 + tax .

I doubt that WG will post a response to your question here but this has been discussed on their Discord server. The price increase is considered by players there to be due to inflation. I've bought every on since the beginning and they haven't raised prices before. They had increased other NA and EU prices earlier, but not that one.

WG's response is that you get the license benefits included now, that will make the battlepass easier to complete and you'll end up with more rewards. WG staff staff Tankisa said:

... I understand the frustration about price. But we decided that way Battle Pass is more convenient to complete. More people will grab more rewards from it.
And also there are quite a lot of Kitcoins in it now. So overall value seems right

I'd been buying the license anyway so the amount I pay won't change. Before the price increase when I bought the liicense both week 1 and week 2 would be available and could be completed simultaneously. I completed both weeks in one week. That didn't happen when I bought the pass today. Getting to the tier 6 tank will be a little slower. On the other hand I'll get some kitcoins. I'll have to see how it turns out.

I'm also concerned that players on a tight budget might not be able to afford the higher pass. The battle pass has been the best value for money deal around. It still looks good, but some players won't be able to afford it.

Well, i am pondering if i should buy this month's battle pass. The tank seems to be okay and the Kitcoins alone can save you get more can save you 3965 gold if you aim for the maximum of the Retropia event :)

Just at a time when many, many folks are cutting right back on pleasurable and/or discretionary purchases...
Not the smartest move WG! But then y'all certainly appear to be driven by an all consuming greed motive. You can literally spend $160 AU and still not get the new T777 and camo.

General advice of experienced players when asking about crates is always "Don't buy"- no matter if there's a tank you want, that tank will later release in a bundle for 10,000-15,000 gold alongside camo, all equipment slots unlocked and free garage slot.

Now, it's only my opinion so don't get offended- but if you have to cut streaming services, buying food and hobby-related stuff off just in favor of one game and bunch of pixel goodies in it? That's a solid no. It's better to invest into passion and material stuff; no game lasts forever and the more you spend, the worse it'll hit once the game closes its servers.

You mentioned T77, which was tank that was released in crates and complained about spending 160 australian dollars and not getting it and the camo- therefore that's why i mentioned crates and why everyone will tell you never to buy them.
No one from WG will respond because they don't read these forums, therefore tagging them with "@WG" won't do anything.

That aside, i personally don't find it game breaking that they increased the price from 5$ to 8$ on battlepass.
That's still cheaper than anything in in-game store.

So for many folks the tank will cost around $200 AU.
I agree that the BattlePass price rise is not game-breaking, just disappointing in its timing...

People will sadly buy them no matter how badly low the chances for getting anything are- which then results in complains about not getting a tank despite spending alot of money but not enough to get all the charms.

I'm sure there will be more well-timed events or anything else to enjoy in-game without any problem so no worries.

One thing players can do is check the prices in WG's Premium Store. I'd already bought the pass but when I lookede the price was $1 USD less. They are slow to update their own store so it could change, but it's worth a look.

I've also heard that the gold bundles on their store include kitcoins, but don't show it in the description. I haven't spent the money to test it myself.
