Why do heavy tanks have no armor?

Most have plenty of armor. Maybe you're just bad at playing them. No tank can just sit in the open in front of four guns and eat shots and live.

personally i think the maus is a joke in this game compare it to an is 4 or a 60 tp and it just gets eaten alive armor profile wise

Wargaming doesnt care about the game itself just your wallet. The gaming experience is absoulutely pathetic. Instead of quality gaming which would bring more players, Wargaming offers manipulated gaming in order to profit. Thats how they do it over there where lies and cheating is the norm

still, it's a horrible tank! Worst win rate of all tech tree heavies of it's tier.

I disagree. The MAUS has an amazing frontal profile. Just angle your armor and you win. Almost nothing can pen you. Compared to the E-100 which has a ♥♥♥♥ frontal profile anyway.

They have armor, but they're not invincible. You need to angle, sidescrape, and go hull-down.

i agree that alot of heavy tank in this game don't have enough armor,
if you compare the new T9 heavy TNH VZ 51 to a medium as a simple as a Centurion 7/1 its pretty dumb that the centurion can pen the heavy hull down every time no problem, meanwhile if the centurion is hulldown it has actually 0 weakspots, even with premium ammo, its just so stupid

For me E-100, IS-7, Type 71 and Minotauro have too op armor. Even if I use gold i can't penetrate weak spots so bruh
