World of Tanks Blitz

Stuttering and lag-like symptoms yet no ping issues
See title. Ping is fine, packet loss is 0, I still cant land shots because for some bizarre reason the game stutters at random, but especially when i pop out to snapshot someone. It's not hardware because im playing on a desktop, so im going to assume one of the recent updates destroyed the netcode

Wargaming does not care about your game. They only care about manipulating your wallet.

Desktops can and do have hardware problems. In this case I think it could be related to the graphics card or gpu on your computer. When you pop out to snapshot someone your computer would be processing tank and other images. There's a few things that you could do that might help. (Test after each step to see if it helps)

First, check the system requirements to ensure that your system meets the video requirements. https://asia.wotblitz.com/en/content/docs/system-requirements/

Second, try reducing object and terrain quality in Settings/Graphics to medium. The PBR graphics on maps such as Castilla and Middleburg are a known cause of fps drops on some devices and could possibly be a source of your problem. https://discord.com/channels/481445776178806785/502008146630541333/1065645903337226251

Third, try reducing overal graphics quality and turning off features such as fog, shadows, camo for all, tracks, hit marks, etc. This could further reduce the graphics workload.

Next there are a group of general video troubleshooting steps. Update your video drivers. Turn off any background programs that use graphics and reboot without them running. Turn off the Steam Overlay is another one (but this may interfere with making purchases - turn it back on for those). Make sure your card is not overheating, dust free. firmly seated and with a fan that is working properly.

Finally, you can contact Player Support for their advice by selecting Settings/Support.
