Just started a new account last night. I'm a reroller.

I have played WOTB for around 6 years now, PC only, since I started I've gotten better, as is normal. I started out with around a 50% WR, and around 5,000 battles on that account, with avg dmg of like 700. I played mostly low tiers, 7 and under. Horrible stats, embarrasingly. Rerolled my second account around 2019. On that one I hit blue/60% WR, and avg dmg of around 1300. Same, mostly upwards of T7. Tried some tiers 8 - 10, only to get completely wrecked. Started 3 newer accounts since then. I've spent busloads on all of my accounts too. Literally thousands. Anyhow, now I started my newest account, where I plan on being completely tiers 8 - X. I'm good enough to now. I can hold my own with keeping high 60s WR to even purple WR, with dmg around 2400. The dmg part is what I'm always most concerned with, not WR.

So, I started my newest account, this one, just yesterday. Got through the tutorial, and looked forward to fighting bots in my purchase from the store of the Progetto 65 and the Emil. I was starting my 3rd match, expecting you know, as usual, all bots, for the first several hundred battles at least. NO. Wasn't the case. I was immediately with real people, no bots. 3rd battle in. My team managed to win, and I have no idea how they did. I got a meagher 1500 dmg and died that battle. My team was no good, but neither was the other team. Point is, why wasn't almost all the players on both teams not bots? What's going on? Thinking maybe I should have played a few matches in lower tiers first, like the starter tanks, as I think that's what I did in the past, and ended up getting mostly bots for the first few hundred or so battles. Any ideas as to why bots were not present?

at higher tiers i believe there is less bots. depends on server too even if new. i think under 5k battles means you're in newbie tier anyway (unless you play tier 9/10 as those tend to pull OG players and remove the newbie matchmaking)

Adding to what GHOST said, bots are only used for very new players, with the number of real players increasing as more battles are fought. WG hasn't said where the cutoff is but it appears to be somewhere around 2,000 -/+ battles. There are reliable reports of new players seeing bots as high as tier 7 on the NA server and as high as tier 9 on the EU server.

So, if you are playing tiers 8+ in NA I wouldn't expect you to see bots.

New player matchmaking attempts to put new players in battles with other new players when possible. The cutoof for that is 5k battles. If there aren't enough new players and enough more experienced players for the two groups to be quickly put into separate battles, the two groups will be mixed together. Since NA has a much smaller player base the queue's are smaller. Many of my battles in tier 8 have new players in them.

The result will be MM putting you into battles with 20+ battles plqyers who have maxed out crew skills, and always drive fully upgraded tanks. I don't recommend that players with new accounts jump right into tier 8, it's not fair to you. Play mid tiers more and/or play high tiers only in fun modes.

Yesterday on the EU server during the day, it was bizar:
80% Russian names and always 1 or 2 unicums in the other team, i got wiped for hours.

Most bizar, an EMIL unicum autoloader 4-shotted me to instant death at the start...from the other side of the map with me fully hidden behind a big rock...(i was spotted and also the first shot from the EMIL could have reached me, not the 3 last shots, he kept shooting me right through the rock.

That is bizarre! I believe you 100%. I believe that a lot of unicum and super unicum cheat, not all, but a lot, but firing through things they shouldn't be able to is going a bit too far. I'll try rolling a new account on APAC someday soon to see what you're talking about firsthand.

Exactly what is your goal of re-rolling. If you're on your 5th account, exactly what are you planning to accomplish differently that the prior 4 accounts?

Higher dmg per battle. My last account shows 1700 avg dmg per battle, mostly because I really enjoyed playing Tiers 4 - 7. The tanks I got through the store and crates were really fun to play, like the Lycan, and the tier 5s and 6s. Now, I strictly run tiers V! - X. Don't have a Tier X yet though. Right now my dmg is hovering at 1900, going up steadily with constant 3k+ dmg per battle. Started out of the few battles I did in the PZ III with around 1200. Hoping to get my dmg to around 2,600+. Should happen considering I'm placing 1st or 2nd in every battle in terms of dmg every match. If 2nd, a very close 2nd. 90% of my battles 1st though. Hardly any bots already if any at tiers 6 - 8. This will be my final account. Then again, I've said that before. Maybe in about a year I'll be starting a new one. Wargaming loves me for sure. I help support their families. I'm a sucker for their marketing tactics, and they know it too.

According to my time only on Asia Server (i don't know how other servers work):

Hi am an experienced reroller. It's impossible to ever face bots in tier 8, 9 and 10 (even with 0 total battles). Only tier 7 at most can face bots. For instance, you could play a smasher, face bots as a new account, and even face tier 8 bots while you're in a tier 7. In tier 8+ it's solely human. Also usually by 500 total battles, it's nearly impossible to face bots anymore. Tier 1-7 have lost their statistic integrity due to bots. But tier 8-10 have their statistic integrity preserved still.

So why "reroll"? Why not use the account you had? Really just more curious than anything.

What is averaging 2600+ damage going to do for you?
