World of Tanks Blitz

Ping
Is it me or does the game get really bad lag spikes? i could literally play any other game other than blitz and have 0 lag, im playing on a PC with a WIRED connection but only experience lag on blitz, it ranges form 200-2000 ping and i randomly get 20% packet loss, ive tried updating windows, my gaming drivers, steam, restarting the computer, and restarting the router. it seems no matter what i do the game still lags i could be platooning with a friend and he tells me he experiences almost no lag. I have even tried moving blitz from SSD to a Hard Drive, i see almost no difference in performance. Also i have checked my internet speeds ping is always between 3-18 ms and download speed is always at 570-650 mbps

Blitz is very connection sensitive and requires a stable internet connection.

Although lag and packet loss can be caused by a player's computer or home network, it ordinarily is due to an internet backbone between you and the cluster you log onto. The server/cluster you use for Blitz is probably in a different physical location from the other servers you use (the same way different roads have different conditions).

Running Pingplotter will diagnose where the problem is occurring; your computer, home network, ISP, etc. See this pinned thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/444200/discussions/5/135509124605020581/
