"Synchronizing data..." - Unable to play
I've got 250+ hours into the game, I play on both PC and mobile and have never had a problem until this morning.

On both PC and Mobile I now hang on the "Synchronizing data..." portion of the loading screen. I have:

1) rebooted my modem and router.
2) rebooted my PC.
3) turned off firewall completely.
4) deleted all files from %appdata%/Wargaming.net (though I think that was more for standard WoT.)
5) attempted to load game via mobile data to exclude my home internet completely.
6) logged out of and into my wargaming.net account via web page to check for issues there.

I haven't completely uninstalled the game from Steam yet but I find it unlikely it will work since both PC & Mobile access to the game are affected. I'll likely give it a shot here in a moment simply to cross it off the list.

I'm kind of at a loss now. Where should I go from here to attempt a fix?

There are two possible causes that I can think of.

The first is interference by an antivirus program that is scanning any changes Blitz is downloading. You can test for this by turning your antivirus off and, if it helps, changing your antivirus settings to exclude Blitz. (Turn your antivirus back on after the test).

The second is a connection or packet loss somewhere between your device and the Blitz server. You can test for this by running Pingplotter (see pinned lag thread in the Technical Issues forum). The most common cause of packet loss is congestion on the internet that overloads a router or pipeline. This usually resolves itself in time.(For more info see http://forum.wotblitz.com/index.php?/topic/108131-lag-packet-loss-ghost-shells-demystified-using-pingplotter-what-is-it-how-to-faq-qa-and-more/).

One quick fix for this is rebooting your own system (computer, wifi, router, etc). Power it all down for 30 seconds. When it reboots clean copies of routines will be loaded and your router will do a new search for a stable connection. It may find an alternate route that avoids the problem.

Depending on the location of the internet problem using a vpn could also work.

BTW, a clean uninstall involves deleting the DavaProject folder (yourdrive/yourusername/Documents). That’s where I think the files are being downloaded to.

Cuscraid Jan 26, 2022 @ 12:37pm
they could have posted something saying they are aware of it and working on it. instead of people going crazy trying to figure out whats going on. kinda unprofessional on them

After running WGCheck it appears everything on my end is correct, so like Cuscraid said it seems to be something on Wargaming.net's end.

Good to know but curious. I’ve logged on several times today without having a synchro problem. We are on the same server, but I’m on C2 and you should be on C0.

Doing quick PingPlotter checks I do see a couple times when there was packet loss on both clusters. Other locations had larger problems, unfortunately, but that could be due to my own location.

I have the exact same problem. Also on PC with Steam, and on my mobile devices.
WG is just ♥♥♥♥.

Just adding to other peoples resources, WGCheck is actually quite a decent program. You can obviously find it on wargaming's platform, here is the link to the article I was reading related to this issue with the link to WGCheck contained within:

I have the same problem but mine is stuck on the connecting screen
shibusa Jan 26, 2022 @ 2:28pm
Same here: it keeps on "synchronizing". WGCheck is OK, PingPlotter also OK. It seems to be issues with the Wargaming.net account. Ticket openned.

i submitted a ticket but WG closed it for some reason
cathouse791 Jan 26, 2022 @ 2:43pm

Ask for compensation, you deserve it. Just curious, which country are you in that you are experiencing these problems?
