You can contact wargaming support. I did it several times to report toxic players and they did ban their chat. Not sure about the other abuses, maybe they will punish those as well. Simple in-game reports are quite useless, because players use them rarely. And even if they do, the abuser doesn't have too much reports to be punished automatically, as I see it.

Multiple provocative comment downvotes in the same battle may trigger an automatic censor check and warnings or chat bans of up to 3 days, but you do need more than one player downvoting them.

As mentined, tickets to support can be more effective. Save your replays and use them to take screenshots of all their chat so WG staff can see them. Attach the screen shots to the ticket. You can contact Suppot by selecting Settings/Support in the bottom left of the garage or through your region’s website:

https://ru.wargaming.net/support/ru/products/wotb/

https://asia.wargaming.net/support/en/

https://eu.wargaming.net/support/en/

https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wotb

Some players will ignore warnings or even shorter chat bans, but WG does give permanent bans for extreme behavior or repeated violations.

best thing is to just ignore the chat. Pc version has a lot more vile, you get used to ignoring the little kids. They will never ban them , they love collecting that $$$$$

Ignoring them is good advice and is something I do with most of it.

But players keep posting on this and other forums complaining about their bans. The game rule basicaly say “Don’t hurt Wargaming or other players.” WG does give people a chance to change but in the end they’d rather lose a few toxic players than have them drive paying customers away from the game. It’s a good business practice.

Depending on how you feel you can either ignore, report (I have had players banned for being toxic, stupid, etc.). If it is really bad just go into your game settings and turn off the chat. Sometimes having the chat turned off really helps - because no one really reacts to what you recommend or say regarding game play anyway.

Most of those people who complain about their bans usually say they didn't do anything wrong or got banned unfairly, but they can contact support to get evidence on what caused their ban.

True that. After a major earthquake I had bumper stickers made up for a disaster benefit: “It ain’t my fault!” I got pulled over a couple times by cops who wanted to thank me for the chuckle. Human nature just works that way.

Maybe stop being such a girl and man up. If free speech bothers you, you're our enemy anyway.

Man do I love seeing people not being civil and liking to "Man up" and throw down than use proper ways to deal with abuse. Usually are the people responsible for most of the problems in the society of civilised people. Nobody likes an abusive player in chat unless you are an masochist or probably live surrounded by such people , say your family maybe. Also free speech or freedom to say anything comes from having responsibility as a citizen of a society that provides you with that right. Freedom is consequence of responsibility not people trying to "man up"

Do 2 things. First take a screen shot of the incident (wargaming will reviews logs anyway) but note the day and time of the text. Make sure you know the persons name, day, time, and any other info. Use support to send that info in.

Then put them on your blackslist so you never have to worry about them again. Nothing else you can do it isn't worth worrying about. You sent in a report let WG handle it, forget them and continue to have fun. Useless noobs are worthless in the game, and worthless to even talk to and worry about.

Gotta love the "free speech" excuse, do you even know what it means, and why it does not apply here? I give you a hint: public zone vs private grounds/government vs individual

That said, overly abusive behavior should be recorded (screenshot/replay) and reported to support (and they actually do listen.. sometimes.. ^^). On the other hand, a bit of smacktalk is kinda normal in this game, and people should (by age restriction) got the balls to deal with it. Especially as it might not be undeserved. So many noobs thinking that reaching tier10 asap is the main goal.. and sometimes, you just have to vent, for your own health sake. Just remember, high blood pressure is one of the main killers in todays civilization! :steammocking:

The main WoT channel on my clans Teamspeak server is named "Tank tourette" for a reason.. xD
