After I received the Tier 6 Agent, I got this Crew training thing, how this works? Do I have to win battles or just play for that specific tank to progress that Crew's training item?

Here is how crew works(at least I think, take this with caution)

A tank can use any crew skills, regardless of skill type(light tank, medium tank, ect) The twist is, that crew skill must be maxed out in order to do that. When the skill isn't maxed out, it can only be used by that tank type. Training crew skills means you can use the skills, but you can't increase the level of the skills until you reach 100% crew level.
Again I think that's how it is, someone will have to either back me up or correct me

so if a tank has a crew of 100% what if i used a booster dose it boost the skill or just a waste?

You’ve got the terms mixed up, but otherwise right

Crews of tech tanks 6+ start out at 50% traiining. Crew xp (similar to combat xp) increases that but you can speed it up by adding credits or gold. At 50%, the tank commander only has 50% spotting ability, etc..(It’s the one thing I always spend gold on but may be too expensive for that in high tiers).

Once they are trained to 100% the crew xp goes to individual crew skills. Those are earned for that tank class, but once earned are used for all tanks.

You only have one crew and they go with you to all the tanks. Once they get good at driving a new tank they work on getting good at specific skills. When they get better at Camo they still know that skill level when they move to a different tank. (Git Gud in action).

You can speed up crew skills by using Elite XP, credits or gold. Which skill to do first is debated a lot. (Mentor then Camo for me). That is a topic for another thread though.

I see that I can progress on Crew class training from Tier 5 tanks, haven't tried 4, but I think it works. I can't see myself proceeding to tier 6 without good crew training, it was given to us tiers 1-5.

I peeked into provisions of a Tier 6 tank, Agent, and wow, most of the items went up in cost, Chocolate: 4655, and the others 2.8K, 2.8K, 1.75K, 1.1K.

Lower tier tanks always have 100% crew training. You’ve been earning crew xp all along but just couldn’t use it.

One side effect is that you have been competing against more experienced players who have at least some crew skills. Now you can start evening the odds.

And everything is more expensive in the higher tiers. You can do more damage and earn more credits for a while but many players struggle to make enough credits in the highest tiers.

How come I don't see any Crew XP earned from my battles results, detailed TAB, XP TAB?

On the Accelerate page, I was distracted, and then click on Accelerate using Elite XP, luckily I got quite a few of those....

I am going to focus on Mentor as it can earn faster crew xp for all tank types.

Your crew xp is shown in your Battle Report/Details/XP. Look for it at bottom of the basic section (upper left) and then match the stars in the boosters and premium sections.

Mentor helps until it’s at level 5 (according to several threads). At levels 6 and 7 the benefit doesn’t compare as well, they say.

Also, that’s a good use of Elite XP. Using gold to convert it to Free XP doesn’t seem like a good investment until I’ve maxed out my crew skills, and by then I may have lots of free xp anyway. In the meantime I want to narrow the gap between me and more experienced players as fast as I can.

Just curious, if I already researched my next Tier tanks, say 5, or 6 for that line, and if I used up Elite XP from these Crew stuff, does it take away from that research? We don't have any control which tank's Elite XP it is taking it from.

If you’ve researched a tank it stays researched.

Oddly, if you convert elie xp into free xp you can choose which tank’s elte xp to use. I don’t know why it matters, but that’s the way the conversion works.
