Tanks with turrets can move the turret and gun further left or right before they have to move the hull.
You can find more information on the tanks you have in BlitzHanger, the video guides section of your WG region’s forum, or by typing “wot blitz tankname” in a YouTube search. This and other forum’s can be very good ways too.
It’s “tier 4” not “type 4.”
The A-2O is a German tier 4 light tank that has a turret, so you can turn the gun 180 degrees before you have to turn the tank. That makes it easier to drive.
You can see the differences with this https://tank-compare.blitzstars.com/
Based on your questions, I think that you will do better in tier 3. You are still learning basic things about the game. In tier 4 and even more in tier 5 you will be fighting players who already know these things. You can play those tiers if you want but you wouldn’t be being fair with yourself. Take your time, watch videos, ask questions.
Are you one of the game moderators?
I like helping people and found that I learn a lot myself by figuring out the answers to someone else’s question. Even if I think I know the answer, looking it up again often shows me something that I hadn’t paid attention to before.
* keep the M2 pressed, MOST of the time while not actively in a fight, this keeps you from turning when you dont want to.
* Stay near the edge of the map, this helps you from getting looped more than needs be
* - * Turn wide then turn into the shot (say you are going to turn left, stay far right next to a wall or rock) this lets you get a better shot and protect your flank/rear at the same time (if done right, you will get your shot, then you can use the near side wall for protection as you reload)
* Try playing some of the high ROF/ low damage tanks if you are pushing a lot, and be prepared to support the high kill tanks like the KVs and SUs
* If you are getting looped, it is worth taking a couple hits trying to get your butt up against a wall or rock. Dont sit there spinning while they are looping, it will only end in your death and frustration. If you are looped, you cant do anything about it, just back up into a wall to prevent the loop. Your chance of survival is still low, but way better than just spinning...
