How to get 120FPS?
It's greyed out and can't set it to 120 FPS. I have nvidia 1070 and i7-6700k, so can't be because of that.

The Problem is, you are running CheatEngine and inject into the WoTB process, that's the perfect reason to have your account banned, so i would cleary advise angainst this.

Exactly.

Posting proof of the violation of WG’s rules in a forum run by WG may be a separate violation and isn’t a good idea in the first place. It’s like a light tank yoloing in front of a Smasher. It seems like a good idea for a second, but if you read the rules and think about it, the idea doesn’t look so good after all.

That is a different situation.

I don’t think the Cheat Engine thing was that big of a deal when used for a minor graphics improvement, but being more careful would be a good idea.
(Anything named “Cheat Engine” starts out as a bad idea).

About the lag, making sure that your graphics drivers and operating system are updated is always the first step. Powering down your router, wifi, etc for 30 seconds is easy, quick and sometimes solves the problem. When it reboots it may pick a better route and, if a routine has been corrupted, will load a clean copy of what it needs.

After that downloading and running PingPlotter really is helpful. (See instructions here https://steamcommunity.com/app/444200/discussions/5/135509124605020581/. ) That won’t fix the problem but it will show where the problem is. Attaching the result to a ticket to Player Support will let them make suggestions on how to fix it if it’s on your end and lets them know of any problems on their end. (I’ve had problems on my end, problems with the internet itself, but also problems with the NA server). Posting more info in the Technical Services forum sometimes results in an answer from another player before Support gets back to you.

i got an avarage ping of 0 RTX2080 and now 2080TI i7 9700k in games like csgo/ COD/ and many others my ping doesnt go above 10

https://www.speedtest.net/result/9683620667

uncap the 60 hz is the only solution, as long as the config was accesable it was not a problem by setting the hz to 0 so nvidia adapted to the fps by itself.

in the ticket was the only anwser the 120 fps is only for ios probably the android is causing some issues but the game is alsoe released for windows

In order to get an accurate reading you will need to test the connection to WG’s server. What is important is not just your isp, it’s every router between you and the server. For that you need a trace route program like PingPlotter.

For example, to reach the server I go through my isp in Santa Clara. It’s 20 miles away, and has an average ping of 15. Nine hops later my data is in Chicago, just before the server. That’s over 2,000 miles away and has a ping of 63.

About fps itself - that may be important in first person shooter games where split second reflexes matter. Tanks are slow so it’s more of a graphics issue and not a gameplay issue in Blitz. 120 fps would look better but I don’t think it would change my winrate.

“Oh look, there’s a tank over there. I’ll shoot it! As soon as the turret rotates.” Slow.

El_Din_1946 thx 4 the support but its still not the connection i know about pings latancies and distance so for 35 miles my ping is around 0 a ping of around 20 i get within 1000 miles. i hope bubonic will join this discussion and share his opinion as it specialist. in simple words about my connection :D

and yes it does matter when my movement from the mouse isnt like it suposed to be due the high input lag
EL_Din_46 Jun 30, 2020 @ 8:24am
Ok. I don’t think you understood my point but maybe bubonic can explain it better. Send him a message and see what he says.

Edit: lag and fps are two different things. If bubonic is an expert he will explain the difference to you.

Basic Info:

FPS = Frames Per Second, not related to network >>>> (*) <<<<
Ping = Time to travel a packet from point A to point B.
Input lag = time difference between processing input data (mouse move, kb button press & etc) and display result (can be affected by response time and/or fps)

>>>> (*) <<<< There are some game engines that written really bad, that can delay fps due to network packets processing. I will not INCLUDE THIS. This is AWFUL situation that shouldn't be discussed and even played game with this thing.

Vertical Sync / V-Sync & etc = GAME's feature to check your monitor/display's HERTZ and LIMIT FPS TO THAT VALUE. Treat it as "game will not show more fps that your display can"

WoT Blitz... is a piece of ♥♥♥♥ that adopted from mobile. Means... any ♥♥♥♥ can happen.

BY DEFAULT: your ping/ms/network delay & etc DOESN'T AFFECT your FPS. If it does, that game is linked in code... see top remark(*).

Windowed / Borderless / Fullscreen = In windowed & Borderless mode of game window you COULD BE v-synced by windows and/or game. Depends on game. This means, if you want to test for max fps, always go for FULLSCREEN mode.

=====================================================================

Now define your "lag" game stutters? Players inside game stutters? You get below "wanted" fps?

In your discussion i don't really see what you speaking about :D One speaking about pings... other about fps... third about unlocking fps limiter using cheat engine...

its supersampling resolution for tv so it is only your bad setting

alright, 120 is NOT exclusive for ipad, its available on PC as well. I'm currently running a GTX 1650 and i5 9400f with a 240hz alienware monitor. You need to open the "Nividia control panel" and set it to 120 or beyond. That WILL allow you to have 120fps, if i doesnt work, then its completely your fault for not following the steps properly.

:steamfacepalm:

It WAS exclusive for a long time, but lately they made it available, and there are NO steps needed except just activating it in the games settings..
