How is the Obj. 140 better than the T-62A?

So i've seen in the tournaments that Obj. 140 is ALWAYS there instead of the T-62A.
Why is that Obj. 140 is used more often than the T-62A even though from the looks of it, T-62A has better stats?
Only difference i see from the Obj. 140 is that it has a flatter design and has more armor on the side.
