Is it wrong for women such as myself to be playing World of Tanks Blitz? It would seem that many people think so. I say, to Hell with those Taliban-minded imbeciles! We should be allowed to play whatever we choose, regardless of our gender.

I don’t think WG cares in the slightest what gender (or anything else) someone is. (Steam and Wargaming even prohibit giving personal identification such as real names or addresses). Since we rarely ever know what the person in the tank or behind the user name is in real life it’s hard for me to think it matters a great deal. Someone joins a queue, plays well and helps to win the battle; the victory and fun is what’s important.

Of course, I’ve chosen to give a hint - the number is when I was born. It has gotten me a few comments, some in fun and some not. That’s ok - we are tankers and know how to shoot back when we need to!

This comment would make sense to me if that had been what she had done. It sounded to me like she was complaining about a troll who gave her salt for being female and playing this game. Everybody complains about trolls. She plans to keep on playing no matter what they say — good for her!

Its a game about sentient hunks of metal plopping rounds at each other, theres no way to bring up gender to cause "hate" in the first place unless your advertising it, so dont be a attention seeker and play, problem solved. No one cares

I mean they could just be using a generally female name and get harrassed and sometimes in games i will see the occasional person say all men push forward woman and children can hide in the back or some other comment simular to that. either way it is dumb as they are usualy the same morons who would go on to say a td is bad because it didn't front line with the is-4 and maus.
