The Secret of the Tiger P???

So I got myself a tiger P and even though Im not yet at 100% crew, I already love this tank. the frontal armor is absurd and I thoroughly enjoy it.

However, more recently, I went head to head with another Tiger P and something completely baffled me. He kept penning me from the front while my shots kept bouncing! it was driving me insane! (yes, I was trying to aim for non red parts like the turret top and cheeks) And in all the times I've fought other Tiger Ps this is the 2nd time this has happened to me!

WHAT IS IT that I am Missing here? I mean, maybe they were using premium ammo but IDK about that. there seems to be a little trick to this tier 7 monster that has not dawned on me yet, but it's driving me nuts. I should have not been penned! and no, I wasn't getting hit from the sides or rear

Depends where his gun was pointing, if he was looking up high then he was hitting your cupola, if it was down low and you were really close together then he would probably be using premium ammo, since if he could pen your upper plate then you should’ve been able to pen his.

Try watching the replay (if you have one) and see if his shots did quite low in the 165-275 range, or if a shot did under 165 then it was definitely premium ammo.

well your lower plate and cupola are weakspots, so try to hide that, or else skilled players will exploit your weaknesses. Also, the turret cheeks are no weakspot(not easy to hit), don't bother shooting there

When playing Tiger P try to never show your sides or rear.
If you cant avoid showing your sides - try to stay angled.
Small movements back and forward or left to right help to keep the few frontal weakspots away from hits.
My favourite tank so far and a real beast if you know how to play it.

I know but it was the best result after a short research which shows the general weak spots of the Tiger P :D

my 76 jumbo is also capable of penetrate TigerP frontal and plus bouncing those shells >:D

gold ammo and close range... yeah talking like it's so easy. I've survived 2 E25 spamming HEAT every 1.5 second at me so that tell you how iy doesn't work

they are just noobs and plus , they have low profile so your armor is more angled for them
