I got the M4A2E4 for some reason, could somebody tell me why?

A friend of mine got it too yesterday, and he could not come up with an explanation, he did not take part in the beta*, neither the original nor anything like that ever, and got no message or hint of why the tank suddenly turned up in his garage.

*The tank was originally a reward for beta testers.

Well i started to play around 2015-2016 when my pc wot was forbidden, so maybe

I don’t know what happened either. I have three accounts, two on Asia (one being main) and one on NA, I logged on to my other Asia account and got the M4A2E4 but I haven’t received it on any other accounts.

I joined sometime in November 2014 but I still don't have that tank. Maybe it's because I login atleast once every week to collect the lootboxes?

Possible, it may be a way to get people back to playing, it still seems weird, isint that just saying "Please dont play the game in a half a year and we will give you a free tank"?
