bulldog or t71?

Havent played any of those yet, so cant help from that view. But whenever there is a bulldog, we try to take him out asap. So far, personally I never bother to worry about T71.

the problem with the question is that

!) to get m41 bulldog tank, you need to have research t37 tank first

2) to get t71 tank, you need to research t21 tank first.

you can't get m41 bulldog tank if you only got t21 tank.

likewise, you can't get T71 tank if you got only T37 tank.

but one thing is that you need to look further in the tank tree for USA tanks.

both tanks will end up with the same tier 9 tank named T54E1 tank

the tier 8 tank after T71 tank is a medium tank with 52 km/h.

the tier 8 tank after M41 bulldog tank is a light tank completely.

T54E1 tank is a medium tank with 44 km/h.

That’s not really relevant. This is discussing which is better, not which to get.

As for the topic, although I haven’t tried the Bulldog I’ll assume it’s better, in my opinion. T71’s underwhelming autoloader isn’t much fun, and the tank feels a lot slower than it is.

actually it is relevant.

because there are people who never bother to check the tanks' tech tree which is at bottom right corner of your screen.

also, i mention the tier 9 tank is because both bulldog and T71 tier 9 tank is the same.

his playing style also is a big factor.

1) we can give our opinion that T71 is better than bulldog.

or

2) we can give our opinion that bulldog is better than T71

but that is our own opinion.

if OP's playing style is more on light tanks like LTTB tank and leopard tier 5 tank..........

As it turns out, T71 and Bulldog, BOTH are light tanks of same tier. Just in case OP is being confused:

What I meant by my first post is, after some 5000 battles in tier6 to tier8 (im near 14k)... T71 is extremely extremely rare sight. It has never been much a threat with any noticeable perfromance. Fully upgraded Bulldog's mobility, high and effective rate of fire and dpm leaves T71 far behind. T71 is more like a medium-like slow with rest of specs that of a ligh tank. Despite having an autoloader, its dpm is 1962, while bulldog is at 2533, thats massive. Bulldog's depression (10 vs 7) and armor values on turret/hull are slightly better than T71.

T71 leads to T69... which is even more of a rare sight than T71. If u look at T71 and T69 stats, there are clearly many reasons to avoid them. I am not saying the tanks are bad, but if bulldog and T49 can do what u want, and they both can also lead to same tier9 T54E1, then go with them first. See ur self. Again, we hardly notice T71/T69 in enemy team but the moment I see Bulldog/T49... we sniff them out first... T49 is like KV2 on LTTB's wheels...
