how do i change username.

i downloaded and launched the game and it gave me a random user name. how do i change that for something i choose?

It explains that you can do that once a year for 2,500 gold — however — there is an exception for typos in a new account. I suggest that you send a ticket to WG support explaining the situation and asking for a free change. (Note that the link is to the NA region. Contact support in your own region). It can’t hurt to ask.
