Is there a way to report players from steam?
Honestly, I'm not seeing anything that provides a link of sorts when other people asked, especially when having to provide sources from it.

If you want to report bevior in-game or on Blitz chat you can file a ticket with Blitz customer support. Attach a replay if in-game and a screenshot for chat.

For violations of Steam rules, contact Steam customer support. You can find more info on the support, Steam community, community discussion page.

Remember, though, what you don’t like is not always a rule violation.

Unfortunately there is no way to report players in our game through Steam, you will have to go through our support website if you wish to report players.

Please follow this article, this is an NA article but the same across all servers: https://na.wargaming.net/support/en/products/wotb/article/15422/

If you are not on the NA server, you can submit a ticket the same way at: https://wargaming.net/support/en/products/wotb/

To Report a Violation

  1. Save the replay with the violation after the battle.
  2. Create a ticket on the Player Support website. Attach the replay and indicate the following information:
    * Type of violation
    * Offender's nickname
    * Time of violation
  3. Finalize the ticket.
  4. If your complaint is about unsportsmanlike behaviour (blocking, pushing out) and you disabled the replay record, you can add your own video of the violation (or upload the video and put a link into the ticket). If you were unable to record a video, add at least three screenshots and the post-battle results screenshot displaying the offender's nickname.

This is for reporting game violations within a battle, but for chat (PMs, in-game chat channels, etc) that include things like insults can also be reported the same way.

If you are unable to get a screenshot for chat violations you may write in the ticket what the person wrote, and if you can, what time it happened. We can check the logs to verify and take actions, if necessary, but due to privacy reasons we are unable to confirm to you if actions were taken, but we do investigate all reports.

So what if I had a screenshot of the post results of a game where my entire team was having lag issues and couldn't do anything while the enemy team just rolls in and annihilates us, resulting near everyone making 0 damage up to the end where one player had a miracle to actually move and get one shot in after getting to half health?

yea lag
stsid1 Aug 7, 2019 @ 10:03pm
You can't help lag, network gets bogged down and the everything gets slow. Not something you want to report a player or players about.

Yeah, I understand lag and it happens. But to only one team entirely and not the other?
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1827241619 it was doubly worse when I proc detected the two I down voted

That is truly strange. Why all the team? Why only one team? Much worse than the RNG gremlins not liking you.
EL_Din_46 Aug 8, 2019 @ 8:01pm
ok, just looked at the screenshot. Cheer up. The T1 driver had a much, much worse day than you did.
But what if half of Steam players can’t be reported cause u might not know them if they play either with Steam or probably something else on a different device

Do you have a replay of this battle? If you do you can submit it to our support team to investigate it.

If you do not have replays enabled, you can enable it by going to Other > Recording Replays,. You can also adjust how many replays to keep before overwriting the oldest replay file.

At the time, I didn't have replay enable as my thoughts on it were "Why have replay? Just to show off winning matches? No thanks, I don't want that stuff to take up PC space".

But since then, I've had replays on just in case something like that ever happens again.

Kirito - they can still be reported to Wargaming for in game violations. What someone does in this forum is what can be reported to Steam. Good news: I haven’t seen anyone in the Steam forums do anything (yet) that I’d report. Bad news: I have reported someone to WG for an in game chat violation.
