Due to a mix of cheap deals, Ive just had about 3 months of premium. It ran out last night

I've just played for 2 and half hours in a variety of premium and grind tanks - and made literally 11,000 credits. which included mission bonuses. Most of my games i got 3-4 kills and still earned -10k !!!

is this normal ?
is this what people are on about when they say WG make people by premium ?

It depends on thei tier and tank. Check https://tank-compare.blitzstars.com/ for the credit coefficient. My Krupp 38 D earns 150% but my M4 Sherman only earns 65%. At T5 I’m earning credits but I’ve been told to expect losses when I get to T9 and T10. Of course, the more damage the more credits at every tier.

Just dont understad why 2 hours with premium i make 500,000 profit and upgrade tanks, yet without premium im running at a loss.

To get 4 kills, get TG award,,, 100% damage, 1800 damage and still get -18k credits is ridiculous

no. im using normal ammo - HE on the Su152 and KV2. Literally only difference is instead of 300-500k profit over a little gaming sesh, im now losing money. Even winning battles and doing well gives a minimal win, at best.

people always complaining about how WG fixes things, and ive always found it funny. how it is not like that.

but since the premium stopped ive been making a loss.

Last night I used a 9 hr prem token and got up to 200k, then went to bed. i played for 35 minutes earlier on and my monies are now 85k despite winning 60%, using normal ammo.

i think ill just play the krupp from now on. at least that gives me a profit. even if i sit there doing ♥♥♥♥ all

Hard to explain that. You could go back to those battles in news/notifications or replays and look at your credit screen in the battle reports. Maybe there’s an expense that is higher than you think.

The Krupp 38 D is such a sweet tank. If things aren’t going well it’s Krupp time! Then back to the grind with my other tanks.

I got the Krupp by accident. Sort of...

I'd seen someone playing in their black Dicker Max, proper peek a boo play. I was impressed by the serious gun depression. A few days later there was a cheap bundle - £4.99 or £5.99 which was the dicker and the krupp. which at 1st glance looked silly and weak

Then i played it.

Now, i go to it more than any other. So small. So deadly. Bounces so many too. Good speed
Only thing that would make it better would be wings

Same here. The Dicker had been praised by a friend, saw the bundle but tried the Krupp first. Still haven’t tried the Dicker Max. For $3.00 ($6.00 USD total) it was a great deal.

This is to force people to buy premium time. The higher tiers you go usually the harder it is to make credits. If you could do everything easy there wouldn't be any reason to buy premium time. If its hard to make credits playing for free, that helps them get people to give them money.

Basically, make the game worse/unplayable for free average players (good players can play for free). That's usually the go-to strategy for f2p games.

well even good players have a hard time playing for free and making credits. Usually anyone that sticks with the game for an extended period might pick up premium time to just make it easier, and since they play a lot its not a big deal.

Others like me usually only played when we had premium time from some way, such as inventory items. I've never paid for premium time, just used vouchers, gold, or when got it for free, etc. If i don't have premium time i never rarely played. But like when collector tanks was put in just sold everything and bought a year of premium time with the gold, and then just saved up 9 hours/1 day, etc vouchers and used them when ever.

I have enough gold for 1 month of premium time if i should ever want to come back in the future, but even that isn't incentive really for me to do much in the game anymore.

It's totally possible to make a profit w/o premium. However, it's not going to be enough to offset your losses from other matches where you lost silver.
Wargaming isn't really here to provide a "free" game that you can actually succeed in realistically. They wan't your money...plain and simple.
