Due to a mix of cheap deals, Ive just had about 3 months of premium. It ran out last night

I've just played for 2 and half hours in a variety of premium and grind tanks - and made literally 11,000 credits. which included mission bonuses. Most of my games i got 3-4 kills and still earned -10k !!!

is this normal ?
is this what people are on about when they say WG make people by premium ?

Wargaming lowered the amount of credits earned during non-premium pay to encourage purchase of premium pay, so they make more cash. If you want new tanks at a quick pace, get your wallet out. Definitely pay to play (and keep it interesting)

Exactly. They have to stay in business and they need to make money some way. They can't just have a game free for everyone, they wouldn't be around long. So, if you like the game and play a lot, support the company and buy some premium time and go have fun. If you want to make more, buy a high functional premium tank and do better.

If not, just play for free and realize the higher tiers you go, the harder it is. You can play free and have fun in tiers 5-6 all you want, pretty easy to make credits with some tanks. Or you can play longer, go higher tiers, and get premium time so you don't have to worry about such things.

Go watch youtube. Plenty of videos of vet players in tier 10 tanks chucking out 6000 damage battles and getting 2500 credits as a reward lol.

Watch this video. One of the best fights about. And watch till the end with the rewards. He only made 40,000 credits in one of the best fights, 10k damage. Without his premium account I think he would have been 10,000 credits in the hole, in A TOP BATTLE he would have lost credits without a premium account.

DON'T THINK THEY ARE OP TANKS, THEY ARE GOOD IN RIGHT HANDS.

If you want to earn credits : take a tank with a gun that has good penetration, thus you won't have to shoot gold ammo. Secondly a strong tank because you will loose a lot of credits if you dies because of the credits spending in tank reparation... You have to know how to play: sometimes good credits earner are meds, sometimes lights (with top mobility, you are always moving so you become a harder target), sometimes strong heavys... KV4 should be a nice credit earner imo.

Check CRAZYTACTICS on YouTube, this channel helps a lot !

thats a great point also that people tend to forget. Don't die. You make more credits being alive when the battle is over. Of course usually if your still alive, your doing more damage since you didn't die in the first minute.

If a battle is almost over, and your really hurt, and your team is going to win, go hide and stay alive. Let the team finish the stragglers, let the team take a hit waiting for the victory. Just stay alive to collect credits.

It depends on thei tier and tank. Check https://tank-compare.blitzstars.com/ for the credit coefficient. My Krupp 38 D earns 150% but my M4 Sherman only earns 65%. At T5 I’m earning credits but I’ve been told to expect losses when I get to T9 and T10. Of course, the more damage the more credits at every tier.

You are definitely doing something wrong. You should not be losing ~35k.

I just tested. Had a match in a T25 AT (Tier 7, same as SU-1220-44, but not premium). A tank I dislike and never play. I'm also pretty trash at the game, only did ~650 dmg and no kills. I died and even fired a few gold rounds. Had some camo on too which I forgot about. In the end, still netted 18k creds, with a 10k profit.

Next battle, on the results screen, click on detailed (top right), then click on credits. It will give you a breakdown on what is costing you so much. You probably have camo or premium consumables on.

There is a cost breakdown after every match that tells you what your silver was spent on. Go find the game replay (if you have it enabled) and look at the more detailed end match info.

here are some things that your need to take note on how to reduce the amount of silver/coins you going to spend.

1) the damage your tank receive affects your overall income at the end of match

for this one, you will automatically spend silver/coin to repair the damage your tank received.

2) the add-ons you install on your tank

there are some add-ons that requires you to spend silver/coins to continue using it.

3) the amount of ammo and ammo type you buy

you can buy premium ammo using silver/coins but you must be careful not to tick "auto re-fill or auto re-buy" for this premium ammo.

the most important of all is your tank, a destroyed tank will costs a lot of silver/coins to fix it up, the higher the tank tier is, the more silver/coins you will need to repair your tank at the end of battle.

I bought mine this week. Always wanted a Lowe, especially as the Tiger2 is a pile of dog poop
The E5#1 is fecking badass too, so much fun to drive

With the boosters on the santa missions, Ive earned 2 million in 2 days, prob more like 3.3 as ive been buying upgrades too. Nice not to be on 100k

I have just played for 2 hours and used 1 certificate(free to get) for an hour premium and made in those two hours more then 100k

some facts playing ANY wargaming game.
- Playing higher tier games is more expensive then playing tier 5 or 6
- Also using the more expensive ammo can really hurt the economics.
-Using other items like foods etc can hurt your economics too.

Its not that WG makes you buy premium its a choice and for that you have 2 choices:
1) buy premium so higher tiers can make more money or..
2) play more lower tiers and stop using the more expensive foods and ammo.

These are just my two bits.
