I’m not so sure. Recently I discovered that a couple of players I had been chatting with in another forum were moderators in discord or for other games or servers, but not in that forum. When people leave work and have fun they don’t always say what they do for a living. That could be like waving a red flag in front of all the trolls and would spoil their fun.
That got me curious and I looked up what was required to work for WG. Some jobs required thousands of hours in the game, others required a passion for games in general and others, such as finance, do not require any gaming at all. (See for yourself https://wargaming.com/en/careers/). I live near Silicon Valley and have had neighbors who were game developers or engineers. Some rarely played games and others couldn’t stop. You just never know until they say something.
In 6.4 few tanks finally will get a magic touch of WG :) It's a good start, i expect more tanks to be balanced soon, hopefully.

That looks good. I like the buffs to the T1 Heavy and VK 30.01 (H). I’m working my way through the American and German mediums to learn those skills but will start some heavies next. I wasn’t looking forward to grinding a third line right away since the KV 1 seems to be a required subject. I don’t do stock grinds and having the tanks I can reach easily be buffed is good.
Good to know. Haven’t done all the specs on heavies yet. Still working improving my medium stats to the average for each tank, and grinding credits/XP. Getting close though. Probably start with the VK 30.01 (H) anyway.
If Wargaming dare nerfing my Ke-Ni Otsu, I - and many others - are going to let them know how the EU protects customers from being deceived.
If you really think different, then how they buff/nerf tanks and literally nobody sued them yet?
Complerely agree, but there are limits that WG and other companies should respect. For example, WG automatically credits you with premium time if you were using it when the game went down for maintenance or updates. They don’t have any good choices there, too many jurisdictions have laws about refunds. The governments haven’t signed any agreements and can act if the behavior is bad enough. Buffs and nerfs are part of the game, paying to play premium and not being to play at all would cross the line.
Also, I kind of like buffs, nerfs and other changes. I quit games that get boring, so some amount of change keeps things interesting. As long as they aren’t too frustrating.
"Under EU rules, a trader must repair, replace, reduce the price or give you a refund if goods you bought turn out to be faulty or do not look or work as advertised."

There is nothing wrong with buffing them. If I were to buy a Škoda, and received an Aston Martin instead, I would not complain about it.
However, if I were to buy an Aston Martin, and I received a Škoda, I would sue them to the moon and back.
Also, the link you sent apply to physical goods and some digital goods that are regulated by EU law (music, apps, ebooks, etc.). I didn't find any regulations about in-game goods, sadly.
And in such case you have to contact seller and ask if you recieved Aston by mistake and if they want it back. If yes, you have to give it back, company can't demand on you a payment for something you didn't order. But if you don't give it back, they can sue you and they would win on court for sure.
Here, it was only WGs good will they didn't nerf it immediately when they noticed it has 3 times more DPM then they intended.
Also, it wasn't advertised as such powerful tank - there was a bundle offer saying:
-Japanese Tier III LT Type 98 Ke-Ni Otsu
-1 Garage Slot
-200 gold
-1 day premium
No stats, just few words saying how cool some tank is. Back in 2015 players had to ask players who already bought it to get its stats.

Always good to know. And it’s a tank!
