World of Tanks Blitz

World of Tanks Blitz

WoTBLITZ players are smart!
Either all go left or all go right. Leave the rest of the map unexplored and let enemy light tanks flank your a s s.
I prefer the original game where players actually use their brain.

When you’ve got 7 tanks in your entire team there’s not many you can afford to lose by failed flanks.

And from my experience (near 5000 battles, not a lot but enough to get to this conclusion), you are more likely to win when the team all goes to one side.
"You are more likely to win when the team all goes to one side", is only valid if the whole team consists of experienced players who know what to expect after comparing their current team with the enemys. Otherwise it's that old "fish in a barrel" - scene all over again. DO NOT ACT LIKE A FLOCK OF CHICKENS. If you are the one behind all other teammates; Do keep an eye out for behind flankers. USE MINIMAP, the best single tool you have in this game, and COUNT your enemies. When you get to 7, you can ( hopefully ) see the cracs on their formations. SINGLE ENEMY WITH LOW HP ON THE OPEN MAY ASWELL BE A TRAP !!!! SO USE COVERS !!!!
Indeed. "One group" can be great if you can push through and overwhelm lesser forces. In the same vein, "Pincer" can work just as well when you get rear shots and/or confuse the opposition.
going all on one side is fine if your team can shoot, which most teams cant', as plenty of tier 10 battles with 3 people 0 damage proove. Going 1 side increases your chances to win, it doesn't mean your going to win the game. 40% losers can't win anything, which is why they are 40% noobs. Even if they all go 1 side, you have to be able to drive, shoot, and fight to win the battle, just driving 1 side or the other doesn't do that.

Most noobs don't know how to take positions, to stop when you don't encounter anything because the other team is going to be coming at you, or flanking you, they don't turn around, they don't watch their backs, because again, they are 40% noobs who don't know anything and are in tier 7 tanks.

So 100% wrong, going 1 side with everyone increases the odds of winning, but those odds don't mean anything if your team can't shoot. 7 tanks vs 4 tanks = better odds. 7 tanks vs 6 tanks = better odds. The only time going 1 side does not increase your odds is if the other team goes the same way, which usually doesn't happen.

I played a bit tonight in tier 5s, and most of my teams were 40% losers in tier 6s who didn't have a clue what to do, i outshot most of them in my leopard/kv1, etc. While i was doing 800 damage, the tier 6s were doing 300, or 0, etc. Even if all the 40% losers went the same way they weren't going to win, because if a KV2 shoots 3 times and hits 0 times, hes a 40% loser and isn't going to help anyone.

At least you can use your worthless teammates as meat shield instead of facing the full blunt of enemy force trying to flank

In tournaments, we usually have 2-3 heavies go with with a med to one side, then have 3-4 med/light tanks tag along until the enemy is spotted, and THEN flank. This will prevent your slower tanks from being wrecked and assures a safe flank.

yes, but that is players who might know what they are doing. Most noobs in regular battles haven't a clue how to drive yet, much less flank and use tactics. When your tier 7 tanks are doing 300 damage in a fight, they aren't useful for really anything at all, much less flanking or manuvering.

I prefer the original game where players actually use their brain.

the reasons why people fails to see that they are being flanked or being attack from rear is due to

1) they completely disable mini map (this is the most foolish thing to do)

2) they never bother to check mini map from time to time (the mini map is enabled)

3) they never bother to go out of sniper mode from time to time to check their surroundings (this is a very bad mistake)

4) they uses auto aim (i have seen people whose gun turns so much to either left or right and never notices that there is a tank right in front of them at all)

i wouldn't recommend auto aim at high tier tanks like tier 7, tier 8, tier 9 and tier 10.
Remember to use lookout mode when sniping in a tank with a long aim time to avoid turning and losing focus.

isn't really related but just thought of it
A well executed Pincer is the perfect counter for a lemming train but if you replace the lemming train with good players that angle up in a good ambush position and don't rush out, then the pincer is more likely to fail.

It all depend on the team composition - both in terms of tank type and player skill. Also some maps may make a strategy easier than the other( spotting hills v/s excellent defensive/ambush positions..)

All that still doesn't account for clutch plays and monster carries- so just give your best, make it a GG for you and win or lose you'll earn xp and creds.

Happy tenking!
Or else play WT so that people can get to the actual potential of their tanks.

got a only tanks mode in War Thunder???????

if the answer is "no", then this post of yours isn't valid.

i read up on War Thunder and it is a tanks, aircraft and warships game. not tanks only game.

^_^

...But that doesn’t mean you can’t get to the full potential of your tank.

you will have to play very extremely careful and cautiously though.

i have played a very similar game like War Thunder and it was very tough to grind levels for this and that.

that game is called " heroes and generals".
