At what point does a win rate become “acceptable”
Title, at what percentage does a WR stop becoming “wow what a noob” to “they look like they know what they’re doing”?

My WR is currently 49.04%, which could be better but at least I’ve improved from the 42% back when I was more of a noob.

I'd say 50%. At 50% u are no more a burden for your team.

current average win rate in the game is about 52%, so as long as your close to that your fine. When you win rate drops below 45% and heads to the downturn to 40% and below, thats when you are having problems. Most really bad players have win rates about 40% or so.

So, 40% bad, 50% average, 60% good, 70% expert vet player.

personally i dont care about the WR because its only based on ur team. You getting 6 kills then ur team loses is load of bs so i dont pretty much stress myself on getting high WR. Also dont down urself when ppl call u noob for ur WR.. because it takes one to know one.. in other words only a noob can recognize another noob.. The professional way would be if a guy is bad help him get better not give him crap alot ppl here have short temper. so relax, chill and have fun.. heres a tip look at the number of battles they played.

This!
People that focus on WR, are the ones that care about WR. As SNeaky says there are other important stats. I've managed to improve from 40.63% (after 64 battles) to 54.70% (currently) but I have periods when it only goes down. You have no control over the performance of your team so getting hung up on WR is not useful. It doesn't matter what it is, if someone wants to hate on you they will say whatever your WR is (provided it is lower than theirs) sucks.

I look for the positives after each loss, did I do good damage while conserving my health, where did I rank on damage/experience on the after battle report. If those are in the top 3 (on your team) then you did not hurt your team badly. I have battles where I do most damage but we still loose (and I am talking on mediums that don't have high alpha guns). On other occassions my team can carry me but it's a win.

Maybe try a site like blitzstars which gives a nice breakdown of your stats
Survival for example suggest you don't get yourself killed early (I was advised to aim for 40%+)
Damage Ratio above 1.0 means you are doing more damage than you are recieving.

The more battles you have the more accurate the stats will be as an indication of your performance as individual battles are less significant.

Does anyone think that also having a WR for the last 100 battles as well would be any good?

So if someone has improved but is still held back from a poor WR from when they were a noob, it would show their latest skill/luck.

I agree with that WR for just the last 100 battles, gives a good indicator of current skill. My WR is around 60%, but I came from WoTPC first so I never had a noob stage here, really shows on my stats.

Only way people get 70% WR is by being lucky and abusing unbalanced tanks.
toddt394 Oct 16, 2017 @ 10:50am
Anyone who's actually trying to be good at this game should have a 50% WR.

win rate shows your skill in terms of team play. A good player will have a higher win rate because they have the skills to pull close games into wins by themselves, or pull bad or average teams into wins due to their skill. It doesn't matter if you are on bad teams or good ones, over the course of thousands of battles, your win rate will show generally how good you are because your skill is enough to make your team win an above percentage of games that they usually would lose.

Someone with 60k battles and 40% win rate is a bad player, they don't have any skill and aren't good enough that they are helping average teams beat their enemies. They do nothing most games, they usually have low average damage, and they probably played bad in the game you were in, doing 0 damage or not much and there was a reason you even bothered to look up their stats.

Someone with 10k battles and 60% win rate means they are a good player, and their skill is pulling a percentage of their games into wins simply because of their skill level. The higher amount of battles and a high win rate shows even more skill. Someone with 10k battles and 60% win rate is good, someone with 20k battles and 60% is better, someone with 40k and 60% is better, you get the idea. They can constantly edge their teams into wins due to their skill alone.

I second this, that autoloader packs a punch! Also the SU-76i is another OP one - troll armour, good gun and I have almost an 80% WR in it!

to me, i say hit ratio is very important.

win rate is important, but if you got very low hit ratio, then your win rate will be very low.

i have seen people in former patches of this game where there are people who got very low overall hit ratio and low win rate.

people who deal 0 damage or very little damage are those who has very poor aiming.

there are several times i got reported "due to inactivity" even though i dealt the most damage when i pilot my isu-152 out of everyone.
SNeakyPEeky :3 Oct 17, 2017 @ 2:58am
"Due to inactivity" is given to u by the opposite team which is stupid honestly so dont think that vote is given to u by ur teammates
