tier 8 onwards too expensive??

No offense I have noticed the tier8 onwards are too expensive to manage even tho i dont use any extra supply the only thing i resupply is the ammo. When i lose i lose 5% of my savings and when i win i only get 5-8k max(rarely) other then that i am still losing credits. Average kill for me is 1-3 tanks per match even when i am top three in my team i seem to lose credits. i am not a god like most ppl here who just win and win and win like its easy lets get that straight. the only way for me to survive is by spending money to buy gold/credits so anyone else notice this?

All part of the plan I would say. Do you have premium time that gives a 50% boost to credits?
Maybe drop down a few tiers and use the credits earned there to pay for your tier 8 battles. There is probably a sweet spot where you can maximise credits earned per battle.

I read a thread today complaining of this on tier X and the response was you grind a lower tier to pay for the higher tier.
If it's not fun for you at those lower tiers though then you either to pay to get credits then I guess.

Dont play higher tier tanks they are more expensive to run and play ----unless u got a ton of credits and its 3x or 5x weekend/holidays get a lot of credits,,,I play tier 6 and less and have a whole lot more fun and enjoy playing a great game.....

After a bit of searching on the official forum here is what a player (Knickerson) posted
Here are some options for you for obtaining credits:

Pick tanks you like at tiers 7 and 8 and grind for credits
Purchase a premium tank (or more) and grind for credits



As others stated, expect negative credit scoring at the tier 10. It's the highest tier, it's an expensive ride. ItIf you don't want to get a premium tank, then I'd suggest an AT-15. There are others, but that happens to be my favorite for grinding credits and having fun in.



FYI, it is possible to gain credits at tier 10, you just have to do a lot of damage and win consistently. That takes skill. If that's not your experience, then you might need to work on your skills. I enjoy tier 10 very much, but I haven't been able to carry a team yet. I came close once, but just once. So I've limited my playing up there and started some new tank lines. Try to play the game in a way that's enjoyable to you.

They have over 16k battles to their credit and it sounds like good advice

This game is run by an a dedicated team no doubt - They are a 'profit' company with expenses (programers/tec directors, servers (hadware ect one imagines) so that being said ......'do you get a deal of enjyment', entertainment. Prehaps not up to your expectations, but it never the less some players it takes years of skill building (dedicated practice), - I'm less than 2 months in - a few profiles "I have viewed are 5 - 6 yrs in - thats dedication & luck

That's the point, or everyone would stick to Tier X when they get to it and the other tiers would not have enough players for comfortable matchmaking. Tier VII and VIII are the "hotspot" tiers, there were most people are. Its the cuttoff point from where you can earn credits reliably (win = credit gain) and grinding isn't so tedious. Tier IX and Tier X tanks take forever to grind and burn credits as fast as they burn gasoline, and this is intentional. These 2 tiers are for competitive play, and you'll need to do some regular Tier VII to Tier VII credit earning sessions just to pay for playing in Tier IX and Tier X

If you want credits, focus on using regular AP shells and rarely using APCR/HEAT. Damage increases credit income rather than kills. Check out the official Wargaming WoT Blitz YouTube channel, they have an indepth video on how to save and make credits as well as maximising credit income. For the OP Tier IX and Tier X, expect dealing 3k damage average and making 0-20k credits each battle without a premium account.
