But the IS type tanks (and similar ones) all have the old basic design of strong turret armor, weak lower armor and big slow gun. Play them a little better don't just run out in the open thinking you can slugfest. Slugfest tanks these days are those with good upper AND lower armor, not the decade old design of just strong upper armor. There are dozens of newer tanks you'll run into that are red up and down, not just the turret. Many have been adjusted over the years to the latter, many are still the old design.
Lowe, T29, many others have had their lower armor upped to try to keep up with the current trend of ALL armored tanks, many haven't.
Its beyond frustrating and feels absolutely unfair, but then again we're dealing with a p2w game.
is ambush or support - as frontal atack heavy is usless
if always push you lose your advantage - supprise
play - spot enem and if are more as you flee or find best defend position ( where you reload safe)
no all heavy are best or on all terrain - best tank for push is tiger but better is black prince with more armor but very hard playeable in hills !
habicha is more op or japan heavy
When facehugging the mantlet area to the sides of the gun barrel and the base of the cupola can be penetrated by AP. but you have more options when you aren't facehugging another Tiger 1. With a little distance your AP can easiy penetrate the Tiger 1's upper and middle front plate. You can see this in the armor inspector mode of WotInspector.com.
In general, distance is your friend. Even if you are on the front line and pushing the attack keeping some distance may expose more of your target's weak spots.
is about weak points are no weakpoints - they no change colors if change angle
on all tanks ! :-(
