KV3 and upwards - Tips plz

So i decided to walk that line just now... after abt 22k battles. Im not really having much fun driving KV3 except that top guns do VERY decent amt of dmg at t7. Im still under 100% crew, so I miss a lot. The top two guns have me confused over their similar stats... whats the thing about them? Sorry, i havent searched anywhere else like I used to... my frustration over recent MM.

Im really struggling to sidescrape with this guy. I do get bounces from lower and same tier but tanks with taller profiles dont seem to have any problems as usual.

I dont think KV3 can face hug in most of situations. Plenty of oppurtunities for taller tanks and for the guns mounted a bit back... so they can even aim my upper front plates ezily.

Frontly, turret feels similar to Lowe's. Can it perform like a hull down T29 minus the gun depression?

treat the KV3 exactly like the T29. it has good turret armor, sucky hull armor. You want to hide the hull as much as possible, its easy to pen even from the front. Don't hull down unless your caught in the open, you want to hide the WHOLE body, not just the lower glacial. The upper glaical isn't that strong either, only the turret is good. Peek, don't slugfest. The Tiger P can hull down, it has a strong upper glacial. The T29 and KV3 don't.
