I think this whole list is a bit misleading for most players. What WG has provided is based on Tier 10 tank performance when driven by players with an average winrate of 55% - 65%. Most players have a winrate in the 45% - 55% range and mostly play other tiers.

Jylpah has come up with different lists. For 45% - 55% players he mesures how much better tanks are than that player’s wr in that tier.

Although WG has a better database, that list by jylpah tries to measure how much the tank helps the average player. A very good or great player might be able to get the most out of a tank, but most players just want a tank that is fun and helps them win more (imho).

I don't know about this, it doesn't seem right. Annihalator isn't even one of the top 5, and the AT-8 is really high for how bad it is.

It’s a prototype of the T28. It’s a premium tier 7 instead of a tech T8 and has generally weaker stats. The Concept also weaker armor but is faster, has a better hull traverse and has a better gun arc. The average wr is much better (55.74%/49.22%) and has a much better credit coefficient (150%/49%). It does well in Tier 7 based on my limited experience with it.

It all changes when he looks at the relative wr for 55%-65% players. They get more performance out of the Annihilator.

Looking at tiers 6-10, there just isn’t another tank that is so much better than others in the same tier. There are some that are better tanks, but they don’t outclass the others in their tier like the Annihilator does.
