T54E1 or T92E1?

I am almost done grinding my T49. I am not a fan...

I understand that it is a Smasher gun on the back of a Dracula, but, it isnt my thing (I cant deal with the LLLOOOOooooonnnggg reload speeds. If you like to derp, and hit and run, cool, but, it isnt for me)

So, the question is...

Should I get the T54E1 or T92E1?

I dont really like medium tanks, I would WAY prefer lights, but, only if they play like lights and not TDs (the T49 is a lot more like the Wolverine M8A1 than the other Lights I play (MT25, Lepo 16, LTTB)

I only like the AT8 for TDs for the quick reload and armor

in Meds, I LOVE the Crom B and Matilda BP (crom B for the speed and the matilda for armor/ROF (I started to like the indien with its view range and punch, but, it isnt on the top for me)

Lights used to be my favorites with the Lepo 16, M5 stu, MT25, LTTB, but, after playing the TOG ARL44 and BP a few weeks, I think I am leaning WAY heavy into the Heavies:

ARL for the speed and ROF

TOG for the ROF, speed is manageable

BUT, the BP... easily my most favorite tank right now.

So, T54E1 or T92E1?

I like a light if you you get the ROF to go with it (I can get mastery 2 frequently with the non-derp in the T49, but that defeats the whole purpose of the tank...)
i'll take a Med if it has good damage and ROF.

T92E1 with stock gun.

An absolute beast, most people play the T92E1 for the missiles, but most people don't apreciate the stock gun.

A +2700 DPM, 350 alpha every 7 seconds with super nice penetration and very precise gun.

And a hull extremly fast, with super nice traverse speed, that can bounce even an ISU-152 using high penetration ammo if you are in the right angle.

Low profile, fast, hard hitting, able to flank, able to fight against heavies, god top tier, decent credit making, good spotter.

I personally loved the T92E1 with the stock gun and hated the missiles.

Pretty much this, but then, from what you say about lights in general, you might want to go asap for the brit lights (FV301 and Vickers). Those are imho the epitome of LT gaming! Either way, T92E1 with stock gun, or the Vickers-line should suit you well.

T54E1 is fun for pumping a full mag into some unprepared opponent, but then it takes time too reload, and mobility is definetly not gppd enough for hit&run. And afterwards there is the T57 Heavy, again, derp autoloader, but as well depending either on the element of suprise (and ability to finish off the enemy), or some support to protect him during reload. Unlike the Amx/B.Chat autoloaders, you do not have the mobility to just run during reload.

so, i think I am leaning HARD towards the T92E1

Maybe this will help. What other tanks does it play like? (for example, I think the T49 plays like the Wolverine, Jackson, or M8A1, more than the LTTB)

I got the T92E1. but now the next question. Since it was a split tree from the T49, I didnt get the oak leaves...

Do you need BOTH tanks to get the oak leaves or did I need the T54E1 for that?

(I am not sure I care, I dont like the T49 and might just sell it. I am not bad in it, I master 2/3 a lot of games in it, even with the nerf gun (I hate the Derp on it) but it just isnt a fun tank...)

Yes, sadly is part of the T49 research part, so you need to get both before you can get the elite status.

Try the brit light tanks, im using the trendy FV301 -and enjoy it and the Vickers CR seems to be good whenever i find a red one

I really like the AT8, so I thought I would like the AT7, especially with its 10 shots, but, no... I cant seem to get to like it. I even have the upgrades, used all the guns, and even with the bad pen, the 10 shots is more my style, but without the pen, it is just a worse gravedigger

I LOVE my Black Prince, it is currently my favorite of all tanks, took over my Lepo and MT25, so much fun!! but, if I dont watch myself, the TOG might take the crown! it is a lot of fun!! I wish it was better on its own like the BP, I can fist fight with the BP, but the TOG i need a few friends with me...
