Does anyone here main the BC 25t?

I was starting to grind the French to get the BC25t, but then... I got the AMX 12t... The mobility is OK, the multi shot is perfect, the reload is manageable, but...

The Depres/Elev is cripplingly horrid!! I cant imagine a worse tank in this category!! Even teh lame turretless have better Elev/Dep, it is like you are stuck inside a pill box and cant get out. Such a bad tank for shooting if you step on an M&M. unless you are in Himmelsdorf, you have to spend so much time finding a flat spot that you cant really be effective in the game...

If the 12t had even 2 more degrees either way, it would be a usable tank, but as it sits, it is nothing more than a skillful "Pest"

Does anyone play the BC25t? Is the elev/dep crippling? I do like most things about the 12t other than the elev/dep, (the speed could be better, like the Lepo, but it is decent)

Should I stop grinding the French line? is there a similar tank in another line? is the BC25t decent to actually play? I dont want to waste any time in the French line if the BC25t elev/dep is crap like the 12t...

Well... I`m a big fan of french lights. To be honest. IF 12t makes You uncomfortable... Well this whole line will be a problem for You. But if You manage to sort out bad gun depression, it will be a pleasure to play all the way down to BC. They are great tanks. Just need to get use to that little problem.

BC is one of my favorite tanks. It has pretty troll armor and great gun. It much more better then the amx 50b. 12t is not that great but I had a lot of fun with rest of the line.

I hope so. I already put in a lot of time with the line. The 12t is fun other than the elev/dep. I just dont want to get to the BC25t only to find it is an unmanageable POS.

Do you suggest finding another Tier 10 tank or sticking with the BC25t line?

The French lights don't have good gun dep, yes. That is why they are a "pest" as you said. They fly around the map, slapping yo cheeks with their nasty little clips.

yeah, the AMX bis is super irritating (when I am against them) but you cant just simply ignore them either because, they can put a nice sized hole in your butt if you turn your back to them.

But, like I said, at the same time, they are a pain to get good shots with. I can play the pest, but I prefer to be able to hold my own too. I got an Ace and a Kolobanov in my Leopard in a battle last week, something I doubt I could do with my 12t, simply due to its gun elev/dep.

Elev/dep for the tanks:
AMX ELC bis has 13/5 (18 total) so not too bad, but I have noticed it
AMX 12t has 12/4 (16 total) almost unplayable
BC 25 t has 11/6 (17 total) not 16, but is it usable?

It will never be like the M4 Sherman with 25/12 (37 total) but I dont NEED all of that, though it is nice on some maps, but,

Would you trust the BC25t to get you a Kolobanov?

Yes. Even without the dep, they are good tanks. The Bat-chat can get an easy Kolobanov if the enemy tanks are all one shot. If there are two who aren't take the one shot out first, dump another or two if you can, try not to get shot, then speed away to reload. And I wouldn't say the 12 T is almost unplayable, it's a good tank. Remember, like all games, the devs have to balance them. If it had good depression, lets say, 12/5. That wouldn't be huge, but it would help a bit. If you want gun depression, you're gonna have to sacrifice the clip.

ALMOST, I have had some good games with it, what I meant was, you have to add a whole new level of difficulty to it, ESPECIALLY in the sand dune maps. I have to play like a sniper on these maps and cant flank and snapshot like I can with other tanks, like the T37 or Lepo, you have to plan a lot more and know where the flat spots are. In the other tanks, you can kind of make it up as you go and get up in the fights. the 12t is perfectly fine in the flat maps, but if you find yourself stepping on a pebble, your shots will not line up.

I can have fun in a 12t, but, I really dont want to have to grind up to Tier 10 to see that the BC is just as hard to plan for. I am not complaining about the 12t, it does have those 3 shots and when you are lined up correctly, you can eff someone hard, but, it isnt designed for how I play, and not in my top 10 list for fun tanks.

Someone was suggesting the E50M or Lepo1, but those are Mediums, and I tend to not play well in Meds, specifically the 0-60 times, I am not worried about top speed if it takes me 30 seconds to get there.

So... I am still torn between the BC, Sheridan, Progetto, Lepo1, and E50M, but that Obj 140 keeps nagging me, like I need to get it...

Look at videos on youtube I suggest. Bushka and Meadsy have some good review videos on some tanks. You would've loved the luchs if you were here before update 5,5. Obj 140 I don't have, but it is very similar to the T-62A i've been told, and that has great gun depression. With good turret armor too. Not as good as American tanks, but good. Sheridan is like a fast shotgun, with a long reload. Progetto has the auto-reloader, Leo 1 is good, E 50 M is like a fast heavy. Only tier 10 I have is T-62A, so i'm not the best at answering I have 2 tier 9s, almost to be 3. M48 patton, T-54, and soon E 75, which I'm told plays a lot like Tiger 2. It's the best open field angler in the game so i'm excited to try it. Tier 8 I have a few more, a few more tier 7, I have every tier 6 in game except T-34-85, and tier 6 French TD. And I have every tier 5 in game, and every low tier. Tech tree tanks, not Premium. If you have questions for tier 7-10 i'll help if I can, but if you have 6-1 questions, come to me.

i have watched a few videos, and they make all the tanks look good. I watched someone go on a murder spree with a 12t, and... I know it is possible, I have even gotten a few good games with it, but it doesnt compare to actually having the tank in your hands. Like, the t14 for example. I was on the fence between a T1 and T14 (and the German one, I dont remember which) and they ALL looked uber OP, especially the T14. So I got it, and, it is fun, but, definitely not what I was expecting, even after watching videos. They look so much more maneuverable and way stronger in the videos, both in armor and punch than it feels when you play it.

Same with the 12t, and AMX bis, they dont feel like what I was expecting after watching videos. The Leopard and T37, those feel about the same as the videos. So, I was hoping to see what real people think of the BC25t or the others with a similar feel to the Lepo and T37 (and covenator, frekn love that thing!)

Well, imp, every tank appeals to different people. I prefer heavy tanks, look at my account on Blitzstars, I play the best when i'm in a heavy. My worst are light tanks and TDs. I think the French line is really good, but it has to be the kind of tank you want to drive for hundreds of battles without getting tired. Kv-2 for example.
