I do not like thee, Dynasty Pearl
The reason why – I cannot tell;
But this I know, and know full well,
I do not like thee, Dynasty Pearl
{Apologies to Tom Brown (1680) and Marcus Valerius Martialis (38-41) }
I used to hate this map but now I kinda like it. Playing peek a boo in the hilled area can be effective. Or getting to the middle steps bit and using it as cover can be very rewarding.
Deffo would not miss this map if WG accidentaly deleted it
It’s a town with good rubble, something that is surprisingly rare in Blitz. Good rubble makes it the one town I enjoy.
and Normandy ---->very hard play for tanks without gundepresion
i hate hellas, it's as you say, i cant watch every spot i know they can come from unless im way in the back. i tend too hug the side of the map and pick the side with the most allies.
any tip's for this map would be great.
Sometimes it even works.
It just makes most fights into a big old mess.
I prefer maps with distinct areas which break the fight up into little skirmishes and force you to make genuine decisions as to where to apply yourself and who to assist etc... While also giving options for wounded tanks to retreat and then sneak off and do something elsewhere.
Complicated maps like that these days where most teams are just very bad players only adds to the problem. You can't do much because they aren't doing much. You see your 40% team just sitting in the same area, no clue how to flank, push, or when to do it. And if you jump out and try to do it yourself there are 3 tanks waiting for you, because your team went 3 different directions and still didn't really leave the starting area.
hey guys, your in tier 8-9 tanks, and you still haven't learned to go the same way.. lol yea forget that, they can't even drive or shoot yet, much less learn to go the same way. Nope that 1 guy just drove off, those 2 are afks.. yep 1 guy dead, rest of team just kind of hiding because they don't know how to shoot and hope the enemy drives up to their guns. What do i do.. well not much because none of THEM will be backing me up, so ill just go way in the back and snipe until my team is gone, then try and kill some of the 5 tanks left shooting me.
