some people claims that the game is hard so i made the dragon riding pretty powerful. I wonder if i overdid it XD
At first i thought that might be one of those games in wich if you lose to final boss then it's instant game over, but then i felt like asking :P
I'll try again today and let you know if this issue repeats
The final fight is pretty easy when figuring out the pattern, althought is random it's important to trigger the melee attack on the boss, then it ates like 2 normal combos before attacking again.
At the end i was kinda dissapointed that i didn't got to understand what's going on and i assumed the game has no story at all lol.
Oh sometimes when the fat guy with the axe gets to grab me....is like sometimes i can walk away but a clone of me is stuck in his arms.... i don't know what triggers that thing but it's kinda funny
gratz on finishing the game! You can read the story on the game's steam page description, it's too bad that i wasn't able to incorporate it into the game, life is tough ^^;
and woah, i didn't know about that bug. I wonder what cause it ...
About using the dragon's magic to attack the hydra, i didn't wanted to try that as the dragon seems to leave after 3-5 hits, casting the fireballs on front of the hydra at enough distance for it to take 3 hits (because taking only one would be worthless) is extremelly risky, as the hydra can just melee at that distance or use that spray spamm that would get rid of the dragon instantnly.
So faar the best strategy to fight the hydra on a dragon is by using the running attack, but it takes forever in comparation to using melee. I'm not saying it should change, just letting you know as you asked for feedback.
...Also check on this: {LINK REMOVED}https://snag.gy/1y2bn0.jpg the commands to execute those moves in game are kinda inverted.
In another feedback, i mean ignoring the frustarting hydra and the story, i think the combat system is pretty good and the AI somehow really challenging and funny. Even when there aren't many enemies, having all different enemies in the screen at same time can be really interesting as it happened in some ocassions.
If you want a suggestion, the game wouldn't be hurt for having an infinite mode or steam achievements :P
The story is like this:
1. In the past there is an evil dragon
2. The princess beat the dragon
3. The princess sealed the dragon, she also sealed herself along with the dragon to complete the seal. The seal need a sacrifice which will act as a lock to the seal
4. Hundred years passed
5. Some evil army break the seal to free the dragon to help them achieve world domination or something like that
6. Unknown to them their act also freed the princess
As for the impostor:
1, She is the dragon who gained some of the princess power during their time sealed together (the princess beat him so the princess is more powerful than him, so she tried to learn some of her tricks)
2. The dragon also imitates her appearance to some extent (because why not XD?). On a more serious note it's actually so i can have an easier time drawing her sprites since all i need is to add some accesories and the rest are just pallete swap ^^; .. the other reason is because someone asked for a mirror battle the princess vs the princess so here you go!
As for the handcuff:
1. It's part of the sealing ritual ... but maybe because it's also because it's sexy and also easy to draw for me ^^;
Thanks for all the feedback and bug reports, even if i don't change anything (I really want to implement some of them -especially the hydra battle and some bugs fixing- but i'm currently pretty busy so I can't make any promise), I'll definitely use them in my future games! They're all interesting to read!
The game is originally a 18+ title though so if you don't mind with that you can get it from DLSite or Nutaku. I can't post any link since those are 18+ stores so you have to use google or message me for link if you are interested :D. Other method is through my patreon here (a demo is also available) patreon.com/erobotan
I'm currently working on my 3rd game, here is a very very early WIP video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGBiyRMWhL0
Spica is indeed an improved version of princess edge. You can upgrade stats & skills, save your progress, new game+, and the characters design is more complicated :D ! I'm still not satisfied with the background & CGs though, hopefully i can do better with more practice next time.! There is no dragon/vehicle riding this time though ...
oh, and thanks a lot for the vote & comment in greenlight page ^^!
If they get to accept the game and gabe won't remove it, then yours might be the first 18+ explicit game on steam. You might make history lol...Or at last the first one im aware of, involving something that's not ecchi
