Further game improvements/features

Hi, very basic concept up to now.
some ideas you might consider:
1) try get other gamemodes to work, for example speed variations let the player decide how long each growthstep is, give us a chance to set seconds for every step between 2 and 30 seconds.
2) like belug has written in another thread: introduce something like a Tutorial about main features of bonsai gardening and how they are implemented in the game.
3) it seems that there is very low and non adjustable random of the branch growth especially if i see the degree of the new branches. a long time the tree is growing in between to parralel planes.
4) have random of two or three branches per branchsteps.
5) another gamemode could be where you can grow two trees in parrallel so that the player sees the result of different strategies of cutting the tree.
6) as a final result implement something like "timelaps" of the tree.
7 ) as you are with limited capacity dont think to much about music. implement something like soundcloud integration or youtube playlists or players own list. havent found how to lower the volume.
8)Leafs are all the same try to get some variation.
9)try to get better graphics (doesnt need to have Ambient occlusion or global illumination but some easy shadowing should be in jour graphics.
10)my save mode doesnt work ( windows 7 )

Thanks for the suggestions! They are very well thought out and certainly give us a good idea of what you like most about Bonsai and what can be improved on. We'll look into them all and post updates as we can!

i cant post for once a new topic.. so i put it here.. is there any guide to get started? seems you cant cut it low at start to make branches split and i am tired in finger from clicking watering :D

You definitely need to make this game slower. I'm pretty good at owning Godlike bots in Unreal Tournament, but the speed of this game is too much for me. I can't catch up, so please slow down.

Oh, and savefile would help. I have just started playing and I don't know if it autosaves. If it doesn't I won't be able to get 150 Growth Cycles achievo.

Please, no more stupid grind achievos. Cutting 2000 branches isn't any fun.
