Any way to stop the game from crashing while cutting?

I try to get the last achivements just cause I hate having all achivements but one, but every time I cut about 20 branches from my tree, game is simply crushing. This is so annoying cause I have to reload the game every few clicks, as if getting this achivement doesn't already require you to give up your life. :P
