Crashing when pruning

I am having constant crashes when I start pruning my trees, help?

Yeah, happened for me right now as well. I've let it grow while being in the garden (rl with cats :D) and started to cut the branches down, after I came back. First it got slower the more I cut out and then - bam, game closed itself :( -.-
