Physx Problem [SOLVED]

My S2 since i've installed W10 doesn't run.

It appears an error. Uninstall physx version and install 9.10.0513.

I tried everything! I rebooted my PC several times.

It doesn't work.

Can someone help me?

Remove the NVIDIA driver completely. After that try to install Physx from S2Engine "_CommonRedist" directory.

Using the DDU utility is a bit risky. So maybe backup your files first.

Try to even update your Intel drivers.

When User click on Installed S2ENGINE steam and you are Respondable to sort the files out for first timer user who used your S2ENGINE !

It become joke when it say must installed files this and that.

That shouldnt happened when person is Buying S2ENGINE want to installed the S2ENGINE Software for first time!

I mean look Leadworks engine where the User want to Installed Leadworks engine and it work fine straight way. IF they can do it and why cant you!?

I cant install PhysX do you have to install it when you bought the Game

And i wanna test out the Beta But the PhysX does not install it get a weird bug or something

kimi40 actually explained the solution to this problem. I had the same issue on my Microsoft Surface Book, usually with laptops, notebooks, etc you get integrated graphics chips and a dGPU (dedicated graphics card). You will need to do the following:

1/ Open up Control Panel

2/ Choose Hardware and Sound

3/ Then select NVIDIA Control Panel

4/ Choose in the treeview on the left hand panel, Manage 3D settings

5/ Select the Program Settings tab on the right hand side

6/ Click the drop down box that says Select a program then look for S2Editor.exe

7/ Change the preferred graphics processor to the dGPU (NVIDIA 10, 9, 8, whatever series you have, etc.)

9/ Click Apply

This should resolve the PhysX problem rather than complicating things and uninstalling things you are unsure about.

Can we run the S2 program or their games with another GPU brands although NVidia models ?

yes, s2engine works also on AMD cards, and Intel HD cards (starting from HD 4000)

Hi, can you make hotfix for the phyx issue in the next update? I been using S2Engine on AMD card, it works before, then not sure what happened, I cannot run it, the S2Engine keep black screen and not responding... (not sure is S2Engine previous update issue or my AMD graphic driver updated, like something not compatible?)

Physix = 9.14
AMD graphic drivcer= 17.11.12

Found nvidia physx in internet. Reinstalled, rebooted, and engine opens now. Bad 1st impression though...

This shouldnt happened at all........the person who make the software should have including Physx file in it then you guys wouldnt be messing about fidding this and that.

Leadwerk software does all in one file installed and had no problem. Why S2 Engine couldnt do the same!?
