SWAT / Dentist Problem

I just got the second clue from the Dentist, but I can't send my detectives out to a location, because they require SWAT assistance. But I used the SWAT already that day to start the serial murder invesigation. What am I supposed to do? Does the SWAT upgrade let you use them more than once in a day?

Yeppers, the swat upgrade helps with just that. It allows you to upgrade them max to four times a day to also making them more effective (Requiring less police office over all score to achieve success for a call)

yes the upgrade lets you choose between efficiency (dunno what that does, raises the success score thing?) and efficieny, letting them work 2, 3, to 4 times a day. On a second playthrough, I'm only going to ask for SWAT upgrades so that I can do that once those events come around.

well this is dumb. you mean to tell me if i haven't upgraded my swat i can't solve the biggest case of the game so far unless i start all over? welp, i'm done with this ♥♥♥♥ game.

I had some issues with city hall in the very beginning when the mafia were very active, and I refused to use force at a couple of the peaceful protests but after that tapered off. I found that as long as I was responding to most calls and civvies aren't getting killed I could maintain good enough rep with them to get more cops, a raise and a SWAT upgrade every week. I finished the game with 20+ officers and 10+ detectives on each shift.
