Looking at the portrait ? Really?
Looking at the name ? Ok for Japanese name, but Islamic name could be Middle Eastern, South East Asia, Africa etc

I don't mind the dev use racism in the game, but at least get the factcorrect before trying to post a puzzle to the us gamer

I kinda agree. I just went by last name for that event and it was fine. Shoot for specifically Chinese or Japanese sounding names.

And I would say it's a bit more stereotypical than racist. I think it's fine though because it keeps the UI a bit cleaner.

Don't even bother. It's only a one-off situation (and it doesn't matter if u failed it anyway). There's no more of that down the road.
