I had half a mill by around day 100 so maybe you need to get it asap to actually get the cutscene?
I kinda get my mistake on the amphibious position as I put both on the boat dock but I dont have any clue on why the single sniper should be placed on the university roofs instead of the church ones. Is there something to do about the church has a divine light or something?
Sorry for troubling ya
As if there are no other cities in the world with police departments he can go work in :) And he has his 3 sons. He won't be completely broke, and he will always have help.
I do not believe this is the case, it is more about being in power, doing the right thing, and then losing it all. You strive to be good and everyone spits at you and screws you over.
I 100% agree with you, except the part about Firewatch. Firewatch was more or less an "experience" game where you just follow the instructions and enjoy the ride. It was also much shorter and more easily replayable, so you can try other options.
This is the police is a game where 90% of the gameplay is based on your performance, whether that is managing your team, solving investigations, wiping out gangs, making choices about who to support or not support. It also takes like 20 hours to complete. The game does not reward you for playing well, and there is no way to "outplay" the system. Your choices are between a sh!* ending (the actual ending) or a sh!**er ending (being killed or put in prison). Your only rewards for playing well are earning money (which is meaningless anyway, as the game makes clear on several occasions), and not dying.
If you look at it another way, this game is kind of like A Game of Thrones except instead of a brutal game where the outcomes are win or die, in this game the outcomes are die or survive but lose anyway. THAT is why it's unsatisfying. (edit: well, that and because it's waayyyy too grindy).
All in all I'm pretty satisfied with the game. It's a lot of fun to play. Just wish it had better variety for the endings. A full on good ending that was really hard to get would be nice. More variety depending on whether or not you have enough money, or maybe Boyd has to go on the run because he helped the mafia too much.
Yup same here. I'm disappointed with the lack of endings but for the price I paid for this game, I guess it's justified. And I've got like 27 hours into the game for 1 playthrough (I think 2-3 hours of afk and save scumming). Although, with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ending and lack of other routes, I'm less inclined to play again.
Otherwise I did everything as in the quoted image. My assault succeeded.
